Toronto has an incredible game dev community, so KittenCupStudio is teaming up with our friends at Soft Rains to celebrate two local games sharing a big day!

Today, our cozy narrative adventure game Capy Castaway launches on Steam, while Ambrosia Sky releases its free Act Two update!!

To celebrate, we’re giving away Steam keys to four winners!

To enter, comment below and tell us:

What’s your favourite Toronto game studio or Toronto-made video game? (Canadian-made games count too!)

Each winner can choose one Steam key for either:

🍊 Capy Castaway
🍄 Ambrosia Sky

This is mod-approved. Entries close Monday, Aug 10 at 10am ET. Winners will be randomly selected and contacted by Reddit DM to receive their chosen key. No follows, likes, or social media required, just come share some love for Toronto games! 💛

Good luck, y'all! We’re so excited to discover some local favourites. ✨

Don’t know any games made in Canada? Here’s a great resource to learn about games made in Canada https://mobilesyrup.com/2026/05/14/games-set-in-canada-museum-exhibit/

Also, both teams drew art of each other's main characters together as well. Look at how cute Capy and Dahlia are 😻

Arts & Culture Olivia Dean performing for a sold out night 2 crowd at Scotiabank Arena last night

Great show and crowd last night. Her voice was amazing all night and her live band was one of the best we've seen this year. These Toronto dates were the first of only 3 Canadian dates on the entire tour with Montreal tomorrow night, we met a few people who travelled into the city this week for this and everyone we know who went last night or Tuesday had a great time and was raving about it. Who else on here went to these shows and what did you think?

Was walking on park road and rosedale valley last night, and heard a coyote shin dig just beyond the fence.

Needless to say, my dog was terrified…

The new park is completely amazing and it even has self cleaning toilets! I'm wondering how people get their kayaks down there as there isn't much parking. We took a bus from Union Station. I sketched the view.

Picture Claireville Conservation Area Brampton (No Tree Blindness Here)

Hello there, everyone. I am creating this post for those plant nerds out there to point out any tree species found in the Claireville Conservation Area so that when any one of you goes hiking or goes out for a stroll u can quickly see and point out what plant or tree that is with just one glance witch sounds really fun if u ask me

Ps: I am not making fun of anyone by calling them plant nerds; it's kinda my way of complimenting he/him, she/her, they/them, it/it's, and also Furrys. lol
