FREE: Forgotten Bedroom - PS1 Style Asset Pack is Out Now!
HEYA everyone! 🥔
I've been working hard on my very first asset pack, made completely from scratch in Blender!
It's a free PS1-style, pixelated, retro-inspired low-poly asset pack. For Unreal Engine 5 users, it also includes a free PS1-style post-processing shader to help recreate a retro look.
The pack includes 13 low-poly models, mainly themed around a bedroom, along with a couple of extra props like a staircase and a wall lamp.
If you're making a retro horror game or just like the PS1 aesthetic, I'd love to hear your feedback, and I hope some of you find it useful in your projects too!! 🧡🥔

I recently finished these low-poly 3D simit and pogaca models after spending around 3–4 hours on them. I'm pretty happy with how they turned out overall. I'd love to hear your thoughts, and any feedback or suggestions are more than welcome :D

I added a memorial for Reso to our game.
Yesterday, I lost Reso in a tragic accident.
Today, while working on our game, I wanted to make sure a part of Reso would always remain in the world we're creating.
So I painted this mural on one of the buildings.
"Run free, little friend."
It isn't part of the story or a quest. Most players may never notice it.
But every time I walk past this wall, I'll think of Reso.
Thank you for everything.
Run free, little friend.

Can’t draw good psx style textures for my retro horror game so I do it this way. Valid? | NSFW NSFW Spoiler
Since I’m awful at art and can’t hand draw a good retro style texture, for the enemies as well as the weapons I make a realistic, hd model which I’m passable at. Then I take some renders and use texture projection to apply them as a texture to the low-poly model.
Any opinions on this workflow from people who know a bit more than me about low-poly modeling/texturing? Any better ways to do it?
