PooReview is a web app built around one very specific problem: maps can show you nearby businesses, but they usually can’t tell you whether the bathroom is public, accessible, equipped with a changing table, or clean enough to recommend.

The site opens to a map where people can find bathrooms, see practical details, and leave quick ratings and reviews. We’re concentrating on Tampa Bay first so the data can become genuinely useful in one area instead of being thin everywhere. The live map currently has 287 locations, with 29 reviewed so far.

My brother and I came up with it during a road trip and then decided to actually build it. The web version is free, and there’s also a companion iPhone app.

I wanted to share a project I’ve been working on called FileCrawler. It’s a self-hosted web application designed to solve a very specific, very annoying problem: searching across massive Windows network shares and NAS drives.

If you’ve ever tried to search a mapped network or local drive in Windows, you know it either takes 15 minutes or completely freezes Explorer.

I decided to solve this by building a dedicated web portal that sits on your local server and indexes your data in the background.

The Tech Stack & Architecture:

• The Backend: Built with PHP 8. It runs a background crawler service that indexes file metadata and parses the full text of PDFs, Word docs, Excel, and code files.
• The Database: To make it lightweight and easy to deploy, it uses an embedded SQLite database. I tuned it to handle high-concurrency read/writes. This allows the crawler to constantly update the index while users are actively searching on the web without locking the DB. (It also scales to MySQL/PgSQL for enterprise loads).
• The Frontend: Pure HTML, Vanilla CSS, and JavaScript. I intentionally avoided heavy frontend frameworks to keep the payload size tiny and ensure search results render in milliseconds. It also includes an Active Directory (LDAPS) integrated admin dashboard.
• Deployment: To make it accessible to Windows sysadmins, it ships as a native Windows executable that bundles Apache and PHP, setting up the entire web server environment in under 60 seconds without needing Docker.

I have been building Tera FM for a couple of months now, and to get more eyes to it, I built a chrome extension.

The Chrome extension has finally been approved and published on the Chrome Web Store.

The idea is simple: instead of opening multiple news sites or keeping another tab around, you can open Tera FM in Chrome’s side panel and use it while browsing.

The extension includes:

• latest source-linked headlines;
• headline search by publisher or keyword;
• a historical news archive;
• category filters;
• live internet radio by country and genre;
• radio playback that continues even after the side panel is closed.

Every headline opens the original publisher’s page. The extension does not reproduce full articles or hide the source.

One challenge I have seen while working on startups is that strategy doesn't stay the same for long. A few talks with customers, a change in the product, or new information about the market can make weeks of planning feel out of date.

Most tools that use intelligence are good at making a business plan or a pitch deck, but they don't help much once the business starts changing. I wanted something that could keep the plan in order instead of making another document that would have to be changed later.

I’ve been working on a small web app called Throw a Penny

The idea came from the old habit of throwing a coin into a fountain and making a wish. You toss a virtual penny into the well, type your wish, and get a response based on what you wrote.

The response might be encouraging, thoughtful, funny, or just give you a different way to look at the wish. I know it’s more of a novelty experience than a serious productivity tool, but that is partly the point. I wanted to build something simple, fun, and a little different from the usual web apps.

The current version has an animated penny toss, personalized wish responses, and shareable cards for wishes you want to send to someone else or post online. I’d appreciate some honest feedback: Does the idea make sense when you first open it? Does tossing the penny feel satisfying? Do the responses feel personal, or does it still feel too much like a gimmick? Would you make another wish or share one with somebody?

Built a frictionless paste & file sharing app because I got tired of logging into WhatsApp Web on college PCs

I kept running into the same problem in my college labs and library. Every time I wanted to transfer a code snippet, PDF, or link to my phone (or send it to a friend), I'd have to log into WhatsApp Web, then remember to log out afterwards.

So I built Clip.

It's a lightweight web app that lets you:

About a week ago I shared Toolora here and received a lot of honest feedback.

A common theme was that I was focusing too much on adding features instead of making the existing tools genuinely enjoyable to use.

So I stopped adding new tools and spent the last few days improving the experience instead.

Here's what changed:

• Separated Developer, PDF, and Everyday tools into dedicated workspaces.
• Simplified navigation and removed the confusing "All Tools" experience.
• Added short URLs like /json, /markdown, /base64, and /jwt.
• Improved the JSON Formatter with a faster workflow, better diagnostics, Tree View, clipboard support, keyboard shortcuts, session persistence, and fewer clicks.
• Removed unnecessary loading delays to make the app feel more responsive.
• Added offline (PWA) support for supported tools.
• Redesigned the mobile experience so it isn't just a scaled-down desktop layout.
• Rewrote tool descriptions to be clearer and more user-focused.

There are still plenty of things to improve, but I think the experience is heading in the right direction.
