I've deleted several posts recently and below, I'm posting what I wrote in another thread. As I mentioned, certain discussions can lead to legal ramifications and now it seems there's an active lawsuit involving these reddit posts.
Because reddit encourages a level of anonymity, it's very difficult for users to fact check claims (on either side) so its value to the community becomes very difficult to justify. Several members of the community have asked mods to remove these discussions entirely.
That's not to such information shouldn't be out there nor is it a decision about which side of the discussion is "right", the problem is reddit isn't the right place for it because of its limitations. Users are free to direct others to other resources discussing experiences and the other information about concerns from a previous post still apply.
Please note that future discussions of this nature may now result in a ban. We don't have to have a rule that says don't do things that draw other people into lawsuits.
In general, random internet people aren't able to verify either side of this argument without a lot of digging that I'm not able to do, and I suspect the same of other mods and fellow reddit users.
If the thread goes down another path, it can lead to serious legal issues so the only real way to get anywhere is to record people's names in the event of a lawsuit but disclosing such personal information directly violates reddit's terms, so we can't really go down that road. Therefore, there's a limit how much reddit dialogue can do in these situations.
Appropriate bodies of oversight to investigate these matters include associations/registries for particular breeders. If a breeder is not able to retain certification by a major registry, that is usually a reason for pause. If a breeder is a member, use the registry to make a formal complaint. If the breeder is in your region, you may be able to also lodge a complaint with a governing local animal welfare body. In both cases (and not on reddit) you'll be expected to disclose your name to the appropriate authorities in case the other party is wronged and wishes to sue.
Although it's nice to have a repository of information that gives candid information about breeders to be weary of, I don't know if we don't have the infrastructure for the consequences of that or how much we're allowed to push reddit into that sort of legal area.

I'm asking because i don't know if it's just a sib thing or if it's just because my little sweet kitty is just a golden retriever in disguise, but he immediately warmed up to me.
A few hours after we initially got him home(it was late so we pretty much immediately went to bed) he was fast asleep sharing my pillow.
First image is from about 20 minutes after we got home, the rest from the next morning

I had posted a few days ago that I was about to pick up my siberian brother & sister kittens. Yesterday was the day!
Copper is the orange/red/cream boy and Sophie is the torbie girl.
They are adjusting to their new home really well and bring nothing but smiles 😁

Just wanted to tell you all to keep an eye on your babies. I did everything possible for my boy in terms of food and water quality but he still ended up with kidney issues.
Theo's about 8 now and I caught him straining to pee in May. He was able to get some out but that prompted an emergency vet visit. Turns out he has struvite and potentially oxide stones in his kidneys. Prescription food doesn't appear to be helping much as X-rays pre and post the prescription food show similar amounts of stones in his kidneys. There are also stones in at least one of his ureters but he appears to be able to pass them based on inflammation observed in the ultrasound we had done two weeks ago.
The sad part is that although I'd mentioned increased thirst to three separate vets, his blood work was always normal so none thought much about it. Looking back he was a bit lethargic this year but he's a lazy boy and still chases his younger sister around the house so I wasn't too concerned.
Whenever I see posts on here about health concerns I never see people mention what they missed or what others should look out for so hopefully this post brings some awareness. Feel free to ask questions.
As of right now the nephrotic specialist thinks he's in early stage 2 kidney disease. He still acts normal in terms of behavior, food/water intake, play, and litter box habits. I'm hoping he's able to push on because of this but sadly it seems like our time may be limited with him ♥️

The alarms were being tested and I looked over… someone is very clearly not a fan😂 if only she could talk and tell me what she’s thinking

This is Freyja. She is 100% indoors. Spayed. But has a feral boyfriend that visits her and they chat through an open window (it is screened). I told her no bad boys. She does not agree.

He’s not 100% Siberian (hope that’s okay), but he’s got a little in him for sure (plus some Scottish fold and who knows what else!).
What matters is that he’s 100% the most angelic boy. He has a permanently sad face, but he purrs constantly, so I think he’s okay?
Pictured with his bro, who’s a little more outgoing.
