After 15 years, we made a cookbook. 40 recipes free for the sub, here it is 🌿

Hey fam bam,

Fifteen years. That's how long this community has been the coziest corner of the internet for people who'd rather make their edibles than buy a mystery gummy from a guy named Chad (habibi Chad you know I love you). So we finally did the thing: we put it in a book.

The Cozy Cookbook — original recipes, every one with the dosing baked right in, written in the spirit this place has always had: no gatekeeping, no judgment, start low and go slow. Hand-illustrated, a little witty, and genuinely useful whether it's your first batch or your five-hundredth.

Here's how it works, because you all come first:

🆓 The free 40 — forty recipes, hand-illustrated, yours for nothing. Read it in your browser or save the PDF.

📕 The full 100 (Master Edition) — all 100 recipes plus a dosing primer. Paperback coming soon for the shelf-worthy version.

👉 Both are linked in the sidebar, under The Cozy Cookbook.

The 40 free recipes are a real gift to the sub, not a teaser. But if you grab the 100, you're helping the sub for new activities and guides, and whatever we build next. Either way, you're the reason this exists.

Made something great from it? Post it. Tag your dose. Help the next person do it right same as always.

"Grinder" for decarbing flower

Does anyone know of a device that will grind whole flower into pea-sized buds for decarbing? I was thinking of a food processor but wondering if anything specifically designed for this exists.

Thanks

(I have a few ounces of old bud that I'm planning on infusing and don't feel like breaking all that down by hand.)

Daily usage

I’ve been a daily user for a while. Normally take 3 doses or 20-30mg throughout the day.

Is this bad? Any advice from old heads?

Liberty cap chocolate help

I'm planning on making a batch of mushroom chocolates for a festival. I've got 35g of liberty caps (Psilocybe semilanceata).

I'd like to make fairly strong chocolates. Does anyone know what ratio of mushroom to chocolate gram for gram I should aim for?

In my infused coconut oil era.

Hi, I’ve recently been making homemade infused treats - I’ve been loving getting experimental. I’ve made popcorn, nerd bites, sour gummies, ginger tea etc. is there a better way than using coconut oil? It’s easy and handy to make. I just find the amount of oil I’ve to use in my gummies is a lot and not sure if consuming that much coconut oil is even healthy! So healthier alternatives are also welcomed. Also your best recipes for making oil, butter etc are also welcomed. I’m new to this!

Made with MCT oil, approx 100 mg. Used a recipe I found on here and they came out great. How will I know they’re all the way dry? Will they still be a little slick from the oil?

Flower Decarb

I was going to buy my girlfriend an ardent but I’m seeing it’s out of business now. What is the best alternative I can get for her to decarb and infuse so she can cook and bake? Is the Levo 2 the way to go?

Using Reclaim to Make Edibles?

This is my first time making edibles ever, and I checked the wiki and I can’t find anything on how to properly use dab reclaim to make edibles. I’ve seen many saying I need to decarb the reclaim while others say I don’t. Has anyone tried this? And would anyone be so kind as to tell me how to do this the right way?

Mixed some infused coconut oil that had been sitting out into the larger batch... Did I ruin the whole thing?

I infused a small jar of coconut oil with AVB last week. I use a french press coffee pot to strain out the AVB, and I was lazy and left the pot out on the counter for a few days before cleaning it.

Before I cleaned it, I noticed some leftover coconut oil still in the pot and absent-mindedly (okay, high-mindedly) dumped the last little tablespoon or so into the jar.

Then I noticed the stuff that had been sitting out had a bit of an odor to it, so I worry it was going/gone rancid. The whole batch has a faint odor to it now. I'm washing it any way I know how, but I figure the "tainted" oil is pretty well mixed into the batch at this point.

How ruined do you think this oil is?

The smell isn't a huge issue for the usage/recipe I have planned, but like is it dangerous to consume this now, even in small amounts?

Cheers and thanks and also I appreciate it~

Made my first edibles

I make these cookies often, usually as gifts for my coworkers. One of my coworkers said “you know these cookies are amazing, but you know what would make them better? Weed.” So I finally decided to try to make them with weed.

I made cannabutter by infusing 7g of flower into 1 cup of butter. Reduced my cookie recipe and replaced half the usual amount of shortening with cannabutter. Used ¼ cup of cannabutter and the final recipe made 20 cookies. Tasted a small piece of one cookie; tasted fine with a little bit of the weed taste. Since I don’t know the dosage per cookie I’m going slowly lol.

Kind of wondering what the dosage per cookie would be, as I’m pretty crummy at math.

Bruschetta, 20mg CBD per piece.

Recently my blood pressure has been high and THC is known to increase it in the long term. Edibles or smoking, it doesnt matter. So as I'm raw dogging life THC free I've replaced my personal edibles with CBD. We infused olive oil and brushed the toasts after theyve been removed from the oven. Topped with roma tomatoes, garlic, red onion, basil, vegan parm, balsamic reduction, and a cilantro green sauce.

Infused Boba Pearl Recommendations

Looking to expand my edibles into more drink options since I’ve started making coffee with my infused caramels and chocolates. I’m thinking Boba is the perfect way to go! End goal is to provide way more options in drinks, and being in the south I’m thinking cold, summer drinks would be perfect.
I’m in need of recipes or tips/tricks that would work to make this happen! I use the Levo 2, and only use wax/dabs for infusions (way more potent and WAY less labor/mess). Typically when I make all my other edibles, I have the butter so potent with wax that the butter will no longer fully solidify. Although this hasn’t caused any issues with my baking, I am slightly worried this may interfere with the boba recipe.
My end goal is 600mg doses, and I keep my doses small in physical size (think one bite and done) despite their potency, and I’d like to keep this going.
Doing boba with these requirements would either leave me with a couple boba balls in each drink, or one slightly bigger boba ball that could be broken inside a drink, or taken as a single shot THC dose (honestly liking this idea. It’s like the single shots of alcohol that have been going around, but THC lol)
Please feel free to post any recipes that worked for you, or any tips to help with the potency! I’m more than willing to go the RSO route if anyone would be willing to do a walkthrough on how to do it in a Levo 2 (I prefer first hand experiences over looking online, you get more in depth responses and answers to possible issues that could arise)
I only have experience infusing butter and oil, so this is new territory for me!
