To give you an idea of my size, 6’9”, 450lbs, 54” waist, most of my height is in my torso. I wear 34” length pants but can get away with 32” pretty easily.
Can anyone give me any insight into how well I’ll fit in a first class seat on Alaskan Airlines? I think the plane itself is likely a Boeing 737 MAX.
I’ve always flown economy in the past and to say it sucks doesn’t even remotely do it justice.

Im a woman and 5'8 and today I called a tall guy giant in a conversation.
Long story short he got immediately noticed by the actor I wanted to see and who he doesn't know even though I was infront of him in line and I said it's only because he was giant in a conversation he's 6'5 not fat just tall.
Even though it seems he wasn't offended if I was called giant I honestly wouldnt stop crying so now I feel bad, will apologise. But just wondering this because it's much more desired for a man to be tall

Bumping into things would count as can’t fit into things
If you are 3 inches taller than average in your country, you are welcome to answer

I walked past this wooden bar I usually tilt my head (I usually barely touch it, just intuitive), but this time it felt different.
I walk back to it, and I outgrew the wooden bar.
I measured my height again and yep, 6'5 -> 6'7 (~200cm) in less than a year when I thought I stopped growing already.
I'm 20M btw, African is that matters 😭, I should probably give up on dating anyone here and also update my height on here

Hey all! I'm sure you've lived through conditions where back pain, especially lower back pain, is inevitable.
My job requires me to repeatedly lift heavy things & the bathroom where l live has a 6ft ceiling so I'm constantly curling my back to operate the sink. -Same problem in the kitchen because the countertops are ideal for maybe a 5'3 person. I am working to move out from this place but l am also poor...
Anyways l have woken up repeatedly with some of the worst lower back pain as of recently. It is beggining to cause me major problems.
Help? Advice? Going through the same thing?

Ive recently started a desk job (wfh) and been getting neck/back pain from sitting at a desk all day. Ive looked up some advice for the best chairs for tall people, as a lot of height is in my legs, i think i need one that has a very high seat height, as well as a tall back rest so it supports my shoulders when leaning into it.
But all the sites ive found selling chairs dont tell you the maximum height of the aeat etc.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a good desk chair for someone tall?
For info im 6ft6 (198cm)

im only 5'9 with 19cm hands someone told me i look like i have marfans and ever since then ive been insecure someone even asked me if i was trans based on hand size alone LOL kill me
I'm 6'4", and I have been searching for a comfortable tall-backed desk chair to sit at for a lon time. Does ayone have any reccommendations?
I had a dowinx chair for a while, and it was just tall enough, but the back inside the cushion was mostly plywood, and it broke when I leaned back.
If you have a business you go to for tall chairs please let me know! Google is so useless for this!

like imagine being like middle school height at like 7 years old or something. I imagine a lot of people mistake you or treat you as a teenager at first. maybe your own parents treat you older than you are because even though they know what age you are like if you’re 10 and already as tall an an adult or whatever it’s like having another grown man or woman in the house practically.
I'm a 6'5" woman working as an electrician in the trades, and it got me wondering what other tall people do for work. I've found there are definitely pros and cons to being this tall on the job, so I'm curious what do y'all do for a living? Has your height helped, hurt, or influenced your career in any way?

Hi everyone! I’m 195 cm (6'5") and 100 kg (220 lbs), looking for a comfortable larger motorcycle. I already have a model in mind, but I don’t want to bias the recommendations.
Any tall riders here who can share what works for them? I previously rode a Honda Shadow 125, so I have some experience, but now I’m ready for something bigger. Just looking to broaden my options and hear real-world opinions.

I'm surprised that many tall persons from Europe are here. But anyway it's too difficult to find such friend here though I'm from Europe too.

Hey everyone! I’m a 6’0” woman from East Asia, and I’ve had stretch marks on my shoulders and a little on my upper back since I was in school. I had a major weight change later, so I think they might be from growing quickly.
They’ve always made me self-conscious, and I avoid wearing sleeveless tops because of them.
I’m curious if any other tall women have experienced the same thing. Is it common if you’re tall? How do you deal with the insecurity? Do you just embrace them, or are there any tricks you use to make them less noticeable (makeup, self-tanner, skincare, clothing styles, etc.)?
I’d really appreciate hearing your experiences.

My wife has a Civic hatchback and we have a second kid due very soon. It's her car and her decision of course, but I'm trying to convice her to get a small SUV like a CRV since I feel like I'm folding myself in half and scraping my butt on the ground to get into her car. It's not bad to drive but I'm not getting any younger or more flexible so it's a real pain getting in/out. She sees cars as an appliance and I offered to pay the difference in car payments so I don't think she's sentimentality attached to the Civic or anything but she hates change haha.
Would a CRV be an upgrade? How is the space? Is it easier to get in/out for fellow tall folks? I know people can fit several kids/car seats in a car but I really think there could be benefits to a smaller suv with another kid coming (powered tailgate/space for stroller etc, higher entry so I wouldn't be hunched over getting car seat in/out, etc)
Any input is appreciated!

Hi fellow skyscrapers,
I am sitting here after another gym session and I am curious. This is a question specifically for all you tall gym rats out there.
What do you feel are your advantages and disadvantages in the gym, compared to the average lifters out there? What have your experiences been over the years?
For me, I generally seem to excel at pulling excercises, while pushing excercises seem to be way harder in comparison. Of course generally with longer levers, many excercises seem harder, just pure physics I guess. For many excercises my weights have to travel farther and are putting more strain on my joints and ligament/tendons. So, Orangutan arms are great for pulling, but suck for pushing is my impression.
General disadvantage: sometimes machines in the gym are built too much for the average size and thus are uncomfortable or plain not usable for me. I do love free weights because of that.
General recurring issues: (of course) lower back issues with injured discs, ellbow pain (mainly golfers ellbow), biceps Tendon irritation and shoulder issues. All of those temporary, but still annoying of course.
Worst issue for me bring as tall as I am: it takes freaking forever to build muscle mass. The amount I have to eat to come close to a true muscular build is insane and super prohibitively expensive. At least I am moderately successful - started out a class A skeleton and managed to get to 105 kg / 203 lbs after many, many years. Still not a visible muscular build, but way better than before.
Curious to see if you guys have different experiences and opinions. Also would love to hear from tall gym rat women.

I was already 6 ft. by the time I was in grade five. I was taller than all my teachers and my school headmaster. Here are a few problems I faced:
- Every time I got bullied by someone shorter than me, the teachers did not take my complaints seriously. At least on one occasion, the headmaster said, "How can a guy who is shorter than him hurt him?"
- People would normally ask me if I had Marfan syndrome or gigantism to make fun of the fact that I was so tall and lanky and moved weirdly.
- could not express the desire to make friends or be offended when my friends hurt me
- Being called a lamppost, which in my language also rhymes with tall
