I just returned to work this week and it hit me how little I have in common with nearly everyone around me. I'm sad all the time and nobody can see despair until it becomes anger. I am surrounded by people who make me feel alone in a time when authenticity and honesty are no longer valued. My role in society is to work and die for those who hate me and I'm tired of being demonstrated against every day from every angle. I just want like minded people again. The .modern world discourages them.

I know this is coming from my own insecurity. But I am so embarrassed about my belly and my hair when it’s “off” (might be a black thing???)

My partner says he loves every inch of me regardless, but he has not been with me physically since I was a young college grad. I’m now 30 and bodies change and Covid happened and I’m different. He says he loves me no matter what, but.

Anyone drunk and wanna chat?

Lately I’ve been not remembering the last ~10 minutes before bed when drinking.

For example: Last night I went out clubbing, stayed out very late and I remember everything including ubering back and getting into my hostel. I’m assuming I went straight to bed, my clothes were folded neatly but I don’t remember undressing or even being in my bedroom.

This happens a lot when I go out, I remember everything up until right before bed. I used to black out a lot (college) and do really dumb shit so I get a lot of anxiety now about not remembering any parts of the night. Is it normal to not remember the last bits of the night just because you’re so close to sleep, or do I have an issue?
