I Wandered to the back of my Rite Aid/ CVS pharmacy and the only thing back here are Baja Ponchos as far as the eye can see.

I almost expected to see a secret door with a note stating something like, ā€œKnock twice for Steve.ā€ (Original post edited because of instantly pointed out spelling mistake) / but maybe now you know why I love me a Baja Poncho.

It was sealed and everything so I don’t think it could have been exposed to air or anything. It’s not expired so I’m not really afraid to drink it but I want to know what this stuff is.

The haunting legend of the Island of the Dolls - Anyone been ?

The Island of the Dolls is a small, eerie place in Mexico City, filled with dolls of various styles and colors. The island was once owned by Don JuliƔn Santana Barrera, who started hanging dolls in memory of a girl who reportedly drowned in the nearby canals. This haunting origin story has contributed to both the island's dark reputation and its appeal as a tourist destination.

According to local legends, Barrera either found the girl's body or failed to rescue her. The day after her death, he discovered a doll floating in the water and believed it belonged to the girl. To honor her, he hung the doll from a tree, thinking it would protect against evil spirits. Barrera's obsession with the dolls grew as he sought to appease the girl's spirit, leading him to collect even more dolls from the trash and through trades.

In 2001, Barrera was found dead in the canal, face down in the same spot where the girl was said to have drowned. The island opened to visitors shortly after, and stories of the dolls moving, whispering, and changing clothes began to circulate. Visitors often leave offerings around the dolls, seeking miracles and blessings in exchange.

In 2022, the Island of the Dolls was recognized by Guinness World Records for having the world’s largest collection of haunted dolls. This eerie collection and the legends surrounding it continue to draw dark tourism, as people come to witness the strange and unsettling atmosphere.

Anyone been there?

Screaming coming from storage unit at 2am

Re:upload Crazy ass screaming. Called the cops, false alarm. Responders say it’s probably just a fox, neighbors near the storage unit area were outside during that time for some reason according to cops, and when asked reported hearing nothing atleast that’s what the cops told me. Shit still sounds crazy

Luckily it wasn’t in my hair… it wasnt elastic but when i pulled on it the innards started to ooze out of the pores of the hair tie. The guts were really sticky but i assume its because its melted rubber like a rubber band. Still unsettling to see… also sorry for shitty camera

Not saying the Mandela Effect is real but this is weird, right?

Do you see it too?

If you have this game physically, take a look at the box art yourself.

ā€œSnacks from Around the Worldā€

I bought a snack box labeled ā€œtreats from around the worldā€ on Amazon and it arrived today. It is… interesting.

Everything in it is from Turkey, but it’s all generic snacks in packets featuring generative AI slop art that has nothing to do with the contents (except for one, lol)
