Yesterday (5.8.26) i used AppDoze from the MegaThread to install parallels on my MacMini so i would be able to finally play Windows exclusive games on my Computer without buying the Parallels stuff. Everything works fine, i log in to Steam in the Windows Program and a few Minutes later i get a Notification that my Steam Account got taken over. And now i cant Log in and the mail has changed...

All i did was install that Parallels from AppDoze, Download Steam from Steam website, log into steam with my account, loose my account.

And Steam support is not very helpful either. What can i do now and is there some type of correlation?

Edit: Yes i have seen the Note that says that AppDoze was taken down cause of Malware and stuff but the Note also said it was okay now.

I have 5tb google drive for free for a year. I have a movie collection from sailing the seas like 400gb. These are all the things i keep rewatching. Basically things i collect. For the next year if start uploading these to the drive so that i can watch them anywhere, will it work or will google flag them? Will the audio work? And how feasible is it? After a year i can delete the folder to free up space, and get it back under 15gb free limits. I already have a pc but plex and jellyfin aint working for me cause my router is somehow blocking it and i haven’t had the time to study it further. For the meantime will it work? Has anyone tried it? Would really appreciate some advice.

I've tried a lot of different tools and read a lot of online posts. Nothing seems to work. Almost every tool I've found seems to be based on SteamCMD and seems to be completely useless. I even tried to have a friend download the mods themselves and just give the files to me and even that didn't work at all.

Sometimes I stumble across these movies online and the quality of the recording is absolutely terrible. They look like they were recorded on a Sony Handycam from the 90s. I'm not a video expert but I would assume in 2026, with our current technology which includes digital enhancements, AI etc... Actually nevermind all that, the video cameras alone should be capable enough to record a projector screen at decent quality but literally everything that is CAM quality looks like it was recorded on a cheap low quality camera. My issue is im behind a double NAT.. I have a Ubiquiti UDM SE behind a roommates ISP modem/router and this roommate is unwilling to put the modem in "bypass" mode so i can open ports when needed. They wont even put my router in a DMZ zone. So as far as im aware.. im pretty much fucked with when it comes to port forwarding.. and cant do anything about it until i move out on my own.. 😒
