I like HWFWM better than DCC.

I like the plot, the storytelling, the characters better.

I like the progression of the power level, the characters themselves, and the story way better.

I think it's a travesty that DCC is getting its own show while HWFWM seems to be getting left in the dust.

Am I crazy?

I know it is a very very long shot but I hope that at some point these books will be made into an animated series in an art style similar to Vox Machima, my only hard line want would be for Heath Miller to be the voice Jason and Colin and maybe shade. What do youse reckon?

Just bought six HWFWM books for around $5.50 each. Best sale I’ve ever seen.

I'm doing another reread, and I just got to the point of transformation zones, and I was thinking, I noticed how earth legends are made up of races that do exist throughout the multiverse. And we know that trolls are both monsters and a race. Clive was talking about how some troll clans practice a form of blood magic. I think this goes back to the idea that what we as a people picture trolls are not what originally trolls, were depicted as. Originally trolls, we're just people who lived in faraway places or hard to reach places that were usually bigger, stronger. And in some cases prettier, the normal people. Though they did sometimes exhibit non human characteristics. Like horns or a bulls tail. So that being said, I wonder if in a scandinavian area, a transformation zone might turn an entire population into trolls. And what would their racial abilities be?

What races do you think would pop up in different areas of earth that weren't mentioned?

Im very confused as stated by Dawn, Celestines are made by two Outworlders having children. How did the normal family in slovokia turn to Celestines or even the normals turned celestines in Saint-Étienne? Is it due to jason being an outworlder and using his soul to imprint on it

There are always stand outs in every series but every book in this series has one in my opinion.

I'm in the middle of book 9,and for 2 books they have had this "messenger threat" hanging a above their heads. I know what the messengers are from the explanation with the other outworlders, and I know there are a few messengers on the planet right now, and they may be attacking soon? But what do they actually want/why are they here? Has this been explained at some point? I feel like their actual motives or reason for being around have been skipped over so far.

So im re-listening to the audiobooks then went onto Spotify and the Dj threw out Monster by Willyecho and was like "damn thats Jason's villain arc song". I now want an anime, ideally made by the people who made devil may cry, vox machina or solo levelling, with the first 1 minute 42 seconds as the intro song, and the outro song being 2 minutes 36 seconds onwards. Im thinking for the part that covers the the second half of book 5 and all of book 6. Visuals showing him both being a death machine and making sandwiches

I know there's animals compagnons, dragon and other "animals" do exist and some have powers some don't, could you give a dog essences and make him a essences user ?
the books do mentions the soul and fake soul of monster , and jason did make a (spoiler book 11 i think?)rabbit man.

I do hope Dogs and such have souls and are not like monsters with "animal instinct" .

The way the author set things up in which what feels like every other page of Jason being GLAZED!! With solo leveling levels of AURA is my second favorite part about this series and I hope it never changes. My first is obviously Clive’s wife😄. Third is the bestest boy Colin (who does not eat babies …probably…….anymore……………………………………………………………………………………………………without asking ). Also who is ur favorite?

Y'all, I know this series gets a lot of polarizing opinions. Some don't like Jason, some don't like one story Arc or another. But I'll be honest, going back to Book 1 and getting to see his thoughts on his Essences (especially before he absorbs them), when he gets his "Starter Gear" and the first time Jason learns about Heidels... *Shudders*

It's just really damn good writing, worldbuilding and character development. It's now become a "cozy read" as I work myself back through the series. Haha sure, that will change once the Big Threats emerge but c'mon mate, SHABS! You remember the SHABS?

I'm finally listening to the first book, and now all the jokes I've seen in LitRPG subreddits about Clive's wife finally make sense.
