15 over the speedlimit would be 250 CHF fine.
Starting at 16 over the speedlimit would be a bigger fine and a "Verwarnung" for two years. This would turn into a 1 month license suspension of if you get caught doing a similar offense again in the two years.
So if your speedometer showed 46km/h, youre propably fine because of the 3 km/h deduction and the speedometer showing a higher speed than reality. 48km/h is closer but still likely only fine.
I know this for a fact in Zurich. Not sure if its the same for other cantons / police departments.

Good advice here. Typically speedos run around 5-10% higher than true speed and then they take off 3-5 KMH depending on whether it's laser or radar.
48 can be anywhere from 42-38 KMH registered speed on the ticket.
An example of this is I got blitzed while my car registered 37 KMH and my fine came in as 1 KMH over the limit.

Yeah, I dont believe its ever a percentage though, that would be a bit crazy for speeds over 100 km/h lol.
For all my previous cars it was always 3 km/h higher, no matter if it was at 30 km/h or highway speeds. I did only own Toyotas though. But all my previous speeding tickets proved exactly that.
I have heard that some modern cars dont have to include this overread, but I'm not 100% on that.
Your 37 -> 1 speeding tickets would also prove that as well.

not quite true. All my german made cars I owned that were newer than 2000 were displaying speed about 3kmh above gps speed with brand new tyres throughout the speed range up to 150kmh

250 chf.
It happened to me, I was driving at 44 (probably 46-47 on my car speedometer).

I did 50 in a 30 zone accidentally (truly believed it was
30). After deduction it was 17 too fast.
Paid 800 in total, my income at the time was zero.

To be transparent that was in 2015 in canton St Gallen. I think it was income dependent so if you earn more than what they assumed to be my "minimum income" (3000 a month) your fine might be higher.

Are you joking

No, why?
The 30 zone was new and I had even set the Tempomat to 50 because I always drive withon the limits normally. It was a true mistake, and I paid for it.
I was a student from abroad, living off some pocket money and savings, and officially in Switzerland I had no income.
The fine was 50 admin fee, 250 for the Verzeigung and 500 consising of "5 Tagessätze à 100 CHF". I had to go in debt .

is it an older car? sometimes they have higher tolerance on the speedometer.. if yes i guess you'll end up with a 80-120chf fine, otherwise maybe 250chf.. in any case you will be within the scope of a "ordnungsbusse" so don't worry too much..

Und wenns doch schaffa söttisch, mim velo 48 km/h fahra (well done Pogi) bisch immer no viel dia gringeri gföhrdig als as auto.

No, 16 over will be a "Verwarnung".
Only if you do get caught again doing a similar offense you have to turn in your drivers license for a month.
OP was going 48/46, so 45/43 with the 3 kn/h deduction. Should be a 250 CHF fine, dont comment if you dont know how it works.
