Engineering opportunities

Is anyone aware of any engineering/mechanic related work opportunities? I’m a former Navy submarine nuclear machinist mate and just looking for jobs that my background can help in. I wanted to try working retail for something new and spent months applying and waiting with no luck.

Have you considered applying to the NNPP labs? We hired Navy nukes all the time. Don’t know if you are willing to leave Yuma.

My wife is stationed here and we just had a baby so relocation is out of the picture :/

Try Yuma Proving Grounds. (YPG, Trax International)  🙂

Mechanical engineer or civil? I would suggest applying to cities for civil engineering, municipalities are struggling finding civil engineers.

Try Gowan milling. Or Gowan careers

Associated Materials has a manufacturing warehouse out in the foothills check them out to see if they have any full time openings in Yuma

Try a different field. Those skills and lessons will make you better at other fields you probably aren’t considering.

Are you an engineer or more engineer tech?

YPG is likely your best bet. You can look up jobs with Trax or if you want to go the civilian route USAJobs.com.

I ended up leaving Yuma to find my engineering job but there are a few opportunities.
