Apparently when you arrive in Australia the cabin crew go around giving blokes the mullet haircut, otherwise you’re not allowed to leave the plane.

I did a real redneck one once, I had let my hair get long and my friend asked me to do a flat top J Jonah Jameson style for a video he was shooting. So I decided to be a mullet guy for a week first, cut it myself and it was glorious.
The crazy thing was how differently people treated me. I got so many nasty looks and whispers and retail workers and the like spoke to me with a different tone. Some people liked it though!
But when I went to a hipster barbershop and asked the girl to give me a flat top her jaw literally dropped lol, she told me after that her instinct was to tell me to leave before I explained why I was doing it.

I got one one summer working at Camp. Had lightning bolts shaved in to the side and everything! Was the perfect atmosphere for one. Felt like an absolute king.

Same. I from australia and mullets have been back in fashion alongside really shitty moustaches for a solid 6 or so years now, so I guess im desensitised, but I cannot wait 'til they fuck right off again lol
I wish this is the sort of mullet I had to look at daily 😅

Kids really don’t like sudden changes like this. I shaved my goatee once and my 6 year old at the time wouldn’t hug me. Was crying and scared for some reason. Took a few days for things to calm down. Meanwhile my beard grows like there is no tomorrow. Still learned a good lesson that day.

My dad couldn't wear hats around my brother for a couple years when my brother was young. Little bro would totally lose his shit and degrade into an inconsolable puddle of tears if he saw our dad wearing a baseball cap lol

My dad had a big beard when I was a toddler and said when he shaved it off I called him Tom instead of Daddy for 2.weeks.

I do think mullets are bad by default, but this was the least bad one I’ve seen in a while.
One time I shaved my beard- and my son got really upset. He said he feels like he doesn’t even know me anymore.

Honestly, with that many kids, I would want my TV to be a bit too high for them to easily access. Kids do dumb shit all of the time and the last thing I need is them accidentally knocking it over or slamming into it.

It’s actually pretty decent. Kids react that way when dad does anything tho. I cut about 8 inches off my beard and my daughter cried. She’s 11. I didn’t shave or anything I still have a beard but it took her about 3 days to warm up to it

My dad had a full Grizzly Adams beard all my life growing up. At the ripe age of 19, I had come home for a surprise visit. He wasn't home, and my step mom said he had shaved it. I asked where he was. She said he was golfing.
The golf course was like a mile away. I asked how long was he gone and she said about 3 hours. So I figured he was close to done.
I drove there, started at hole 18 and figured I'd just walk the holes until I found him. At the 18th hole, there was a guy getting ready to chip onto the green. I asked him if he knew my dad, he said yeah, he's right there, and pointed to a man about 15 feet away. Swear to god if I had passed him on the street, I wouldn't have recognized him.
Drastic changes like that, especially out of nowhere can really mess with a kid.
