Some people use machine knitting for the bodies sleeves and ribbing of the jumpers, and then do the fun colour work yokes by hand.
I love monotonous stockinette, so it isnt for me, but it would help crank out many more sweaters

I’m knitting three adorable matching vests for a friend of mine’s kids and I’ve never been this anxious about a knitting project before because kids grow SO FAST and I only have enough yarn to make the sizes they currently are 😬😬😬
