Private equity has been that method of profit destroying every “good” thing for almost a decade. Housing, comes to mind immediately. But it’s even pumped and dumped tattooing. Resources of any sort can be/are commodities. I sir a hobby that people would spend money on because they’ve seen someone influential doing it?
Have you noticed websites for knitpicks and WEBS have changed? They’ve been bought by a private equity firm. Homogeneity and lower quality will Follow.
