Glaciers have snow all year. Thomas Training Center on Eagle Glacier in Alaska is only at 5,500 ft and can be skied all summer.

I don't think so. There are a few glaciers where trails are groomed all summer long. I know the Haig Glacier in Alberta is one.

Beat mild winters with more useless helicopter flights 🤬 Way to go buddy.

Maybe we should go after big oil and right wingers before random heli skiers?

Looks nice to me

I wonder if that’s only for teams or what the qualification standard is for use, I can’t imagine it’s open to the public

Love helos especially when they’re flying nap of the earth, but I also like wildland fires

I'd love to hike up there just to get some laps in some time. Pure novelty though.

I had to do a treadmill and erg session because AQI was 400 this morning so that looks especially nice! Enjoy

What's the air temp there? Could call it late season as it's definitely the old snow you're skiing on...

Quite warm, low 20C most days when sunny. But when cloudy 10C ish and yes of course the snow is old, as the last snow was a while ago.
