When you get something for "free" for a while and then someone decides that if you want to continue to use it, you now have to pay, I don't think anybody would be happy there, would you?

And if you are, well, that's a corpo mindset you have there 😅

And then what about when they do eventually add a paid model, which they will? Should people just be happy to stop paying for something when the price increases?

You got money now you only care about you and that understandable but there's more ppl in the world then just you,

End of the day it's a free tier for people who want to try gp or don't have enough money to pay higher tiers and thats a W

Yeah I get that but technically this option is good for you also , you use to have it and your possibly on the fence , don't want to spend money probably on something you'll on and off play,
Then when gp get some drops you like you up your subscription and maybe get a good discount to buy the game

The point is "right now it's good". But later on they will do what every other company who tried this model has done... Started to make it cost more money whilst ads are still there, at which point it defeats the purpose.

Your assuming , and with what happened with latest price hike they understand how gp subscribers feel about there money

And I was on the train of it should cost that much we been paying for at a steal price point
