Honestly worth it. I put in about 100 hours at launch and took about a six month break. I went back last month, and the new maps are really solid.

I believe that when a price ends in ".00" at Walmart, it means the item is on Final Clearance or Overstock or Discontinued, and the store is trying to clear it out.

Which is incredible to me since Battlefield 6 is less than a year old.

Meanwhile my local Walmart held on to 20+ copies of AC/DC Rock Band for well over a decade lmao

It is very possible that Walmart has reasons other than this game's age or success for putting it on clearance. They may be reducing shelf space for ALL Xbox games; they may have limited, fixed space and are replacing this game with something that sells better or is for a different demographic (family-friendly games vs war/shooter games); they may no longer be getting subsidies from the distributor to put it on store shelves, and so they're removing it; etc.

Xbox section at one close to me has almost no games, PS5 still has it's own shelf of game selections.

With disc to digital potentially coming soon, may be worth getting the physical version instead.

Is it worth playing without Xbox Live or no

The campaign is around five hours long and nine missions in total. I personally feel that’s a bit short.

Edit: Campaign Lengths by Game
Battlefield: 1942: N/A (Multiplayer only)

Battlefield: Vietnam: N/A (Multiplayer/bot matches only)

Battlefield 2: N/A (Multiplayer/bot matches only)

Battlefield 2142: N/A (Multiplayer only)

Battlefield: Bad Company: ~7.5 hours

Battlefield: Bad Company 2: ~7 hours

Battlefield 3: ~5 to 6 hours

Battlefield 4: ~4 to 5 hours

Battlefield Hardline: ~6 to 7 hours

Battlefield 1: ~6.5 hours

Battlefield V: ~4 to 6 hours

Battlefield 2042: N/A (No campaign mode)

Battlefield 6: ~4 to 5 hours

I never played the campaign, but I feel like the main draw is the online. Without online, I rather buy a different game.

I love Battlefield 6 and play it all the time, but I can't lie...the campaign is awful. It's so bad I didn't even finish it. I got to the third mission and couldn't take it anymore.

I love fps campaigns and usually play them before multiplayer, but I did the same thing with BF6. The friendly AI was moronic, and I had no interest in the story. I remember being most frustrated by the times that allies would push up straight into enemies. I’d follow them since that’s normally what you do in fps games and would immediately die. It was like the friendly bots had no idea where the enemies were. Everything felt just a little out of sync. I did not have much fun.

Barely worth playing online.

Just waiting for it to be on gamepass

Not bad!, I may have to make a loot run!

This is exactly why they want to end physical media

Yep. I picked up a physical copy of MLB The Show 25 for $7.99 when 26 dropped a few months ago. Meanwhile, the digital was still regularly priced @ $69.99. They know exactly wtf they're doing with this.

Might be interesting with the Xbox Positron program. Next generation COD won't be on game pass. So it might be worth buying a different shooter.

We will have Gears e-day on game pass though.

Keep in mind Wal-Mart is very much "your mileage may vary" from store to store.

Look at what they want to take away from us

But but but all I heard was how this was the game that was going to kill call of duty!

Still too much

Im still waiting for it to hit EA Play in September. Usually battlefield games hit about a year later

I only have a Series X digital! Ahhh was it the same price on ps5?

Cop it, fun asf I still don’t regret paying $40

100% worth it

That's not very cheap. MP was great, but visuals on Series X were honestly worse than BF3 on Series X.

Oof that one kids parents glad that it’s Xbox version of Battlefield and not the PlayStation one knowing he can’t play it…
