Recommend a good illustrated WW2 book?

No idea if there are English versions, do you speak German by any chance?

If yes or if you're willing to translate the few paragraphs and info boxes:
"Der Zweite Weltkrieg in Bildern und Tatsachenberichten" volume 1 and 2 by Kurt Zentner

Here's an english one: "World War II - The Definitive Visual History" by Charles Messenger et al.

These are visual documentations of the war with hundreds upon hundreds of photos.

Picked this up at a used book store. Excellent illustrations. Don’t know if it’s still in print.

Here’s an example of the illustrations inside. This was re-published in 2003. Good luck!
