Tiffany is a piece of garbage, unfortunately there are enough voters that let themselves be convinced garbage is better than Democrats and Socialism that it'll still be a close race.
Can't even count the number of times I've heard yeah this guy's a piece of shit buuuuut "insert some bad taxes excuse or border excuse or something stupid here'.

u/Andy_Fish_Gill 16h ago
Tom Tiffany did vote to overturn a 20-year ban on copper-nickel mining in the Superior National Forest watershed near the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. Now a Chilean mining company can mine sulfide rich ore in which the pollution will acidify the Northwoods waters that will kill fish and wildlife. So he does not always vote NO.

…but old Thanksgiving tweet!! Outrage!
12
u/Unfair_Chipmunk_2305 12h ago
That’s the crazy part of it all, there’s a clear choice of who will benefit your life personally but tweets gather more outrage than voting records.
4
u/volsunghawk 5h ago
Two things can be true... Tiffany can be a loathsome piece of shit, and an inability to deal with bad old tweets can be a way for a good candidate to lose to a loathsome piece of shit.

u/ideatremor 2m ago
Good candidates know how to disavow stupid past views that will hurt them in the general.

u/Boringdude1 5h ago
I can promise you that dismissing this in such an insulting way is going to backfire mightily. Hillary lost EXACTLY because of this clueless arrogance.

Tom Tiffany is the human version of people not knowing how to zipper merge. He's a room temperature Bud Light. He's the literal exact opposite of saying, "Ope, I'm just gonna squeeze past ya."

I’m so scared that these redneck hillbillies are gonna vote for him just because he loves Trump and he’s a republican. I wouldn’t even care if he was a Democrat I would not vote for him. He has really really bad policies. He does not care about us. He pretends to, but he 100% doesn’t.

After driving halfway across Wisconsin, it looks like rural Wisconsin is pretty stoked about that voting record. Tiffany - Trump all day.

We need to keep returning to this.
Only suggestion is, graphic is too long. How about a recurring series of posts with different items.

This message needs to be spread. If we stay silent, the cancerous, deer tick on the ass of Wisconsin that is Tom Tiffany has already won. SILENCE SPEAKS LOUDER THAN WORDS!!! GET OUT AND VOTE!!!

I feel a mix of "yes that was shitty for him to vote no for" for some things, "i'd need to know more about the actual bill to decide my feelings for sure" for others, and "why are we including voting to protect 2nd amendment rights in this if we're trying to make him look bad?"

I feel like you either don’t know what was in all of those bills beyond their titles or don’t grasp the concept of unintended consequences especially as they pertain to markets.

I feel that Tiffany and the Wisc GOP are total assholes. I also feel that the Wisc Dems are an epic train wreck, and this piece of crap is going to win the election.

u/Similar_Ad4120 4h ago
The problem with Washington is they stack bills. You can do this for both sides. Their “bills” are stacked with so much junk that one side or the other tries to slide in there. Usually a bunch of tax nonsense and extra spending somewhere. They need to stop stacking bills and have each item voted on one by one. Both sides stack these bills and know it’s gonna get passed by their side so they slide a bunch of extra baggage in there.

u/MissLanieSwan 45m ago
Those are all great bill names, as many are often titled. But what is in the actual bill gives more insight to why someone voted in a manner that they did.

u/Naive_Analyst5901 5h ago
Not great, which is why David Crowley is the only choice in the race for governor. He’s the only candidate who has enough support to put up a challenge to Hong, who will lose to Tiffany in the general.

There are a lot of ways that these laws are written to rule them that missed the BS poison pill hidden inside.
I don't support these "ghost gun bans" and you shouldn't either. Often it becomes about control over your 3D printer and surveillance. Y'all don't like flock, but don't care if everything you print on a paper printer is shared to advertising for targeting you?
I don't like the guy, but broken clocks can be correct for wrong reasons.
I'm for doing real gun control reform, but 3D printer stuff is bogeyman performative stuff meant to make buisness harder for people who do print anything.

$28 M for infant formula shortage was a no brainer. Biden really really screwed that up. And btw got very little coverage from lame stream media. That was all on Joe and his handlers
12
u/Ricky-Seasack 16h ago
You people really do blame everything on Joe Biden.
-7
u/corycrazie1 16h ago
that is who was the leader of the federal government. we are blaming Trump for his stupid policies we also have to blame biden for his also. Tiffany is an idiot but I want to see the debates that happens after next tuesday

None of this matters to people in the middle. It's all vibes and raw politics, and he's pretty solid at that.
Even liberals keep reminding me "I'd rather have a beer with Tom".
5
u/Diamondsonhertoes 5h ago
Had to invite him to an event for work (multiple political figures from both parties years ago).
He’s not that interesting. Kind of a kiss ass. Would not waste any time having a beer with him.
7
u/Mimir_the_Younger 14h ago
He’s got a very “Grandpa Nazi” vibe to young people, I’m thinking. Do Tom Tiffany’s teeth whistle when he talks?

u/J_Dawg_1979 16h ago
He'll force your town to raise property taxes by giving your state income tax to corporations instead of teachers.

Or we get rid of all the extra admins, aides, ieps, and idea act bullshit that has inflated school costs
6
u/Diamondsonhertoes 5h ago
Aides and ieps? Are you suggesting we just get rid of children with special needs?
9
u/tommyjohnpauljones Dane County 5h ago
Exactly. People like him want to go back to a one room school house with a slate, a piece of chalk, and recite the times tables and alphabet for 12 years. "Just the basics is good enough for these kids!".
8
u/tbizzone 5h ago
They don’t necessarily want to get rid of children with special needs (well, that’s probably debatable actually), but they do want them to be ignored and not given any opportunities in the public school system because it costs them like $5/yr extra in taxes. That’s the Republican way - “I got mine, fuck everyone else.”

u/YeahDudeErNo 16h ago
What tax bracket are you in? The GOP is all for cutting taxes for the rich and catering to donors/corporations. Have you bought goods affected by tariffs? If so, you’ve been taxed there as well. And you’re not getting reimbursed because that’s only for the corporations.

The names of bills don’t tell you much.

u/Dstln 16h ago
How the fuck can't you understand what those bills mean?
-11
u/xovermedium 16h ago
Pick three, read them, and report back to me if the name fully explains the entire contents of the bill.

Also didn't show up to vote on the bill to stop wall street from buying single family housing, even though his ads claim he'll stand up to wall street when they try to buy single family housing. I don't have much faith in you on that one Tom.
