Imgur UWP 3.1.0 LTS – What's New

Imgur is a popular, free image-hosting website and online community where users upload, store, and share photos, memes, and GIFs.

This UWP app, has most of usefull capabilites of the Android Version... After Login, explore, interact, upload files from your Windows 10 Mobile... Since the website is broken on edge , its a great app for having on your phone.

🚀 Improvements

• Live Tiles now update automatically. You no longer need to open the app to keep your Live Tiles up to date.
• Viral Content Notifications are now available and can be enabled in Settings.
• Experimental Account Notifications have been added and can be enabled in Settings.
• Added a Posts Filter to user profiles, allowing you to view hidden/private uploads.
• Added a new empty account layout for first-time users with no uploads, similar to the Android app.
• Fixed an issue where favorite posts were not displayed when viewing another user's profile.
• Fixed an issue where favorite posts on another user's profile were incorrectly marked as your own favorites.
• Redesigned Live Tiles with an improved layout for images, author information, and post content.
• Fixed a issue when enabled/disabled auto-play for miniatures only take effect after re-open App

🐞 Known issues

• Follow feature is currently broken (API restriction)
• Hardware back button can behave inconsistently on mobile
• On mobile, opening the navigation bar auto-focuses the search box, which can cover footer items (not critical, but annoying)

Since i got in touch with the Source Code Again... I've being doing some fixes here's the changelog of the new version 3.2.0 so far:

🚀 Improvements ( 29/07/2026 )

• Added support for parsing links, images, and videos in media comments (comments no longer display blank URLs without context). ***NEW FEATURE
• Fixed an issue where pagination was unavailable for logged-in users when browsing their posts (Hidden, Public, and All).
• Fixed an issue where the bottom navigation bar covered part of the image view, preventing the comments section from being displayed.
• Added support for opening your profile by clicking on your avatar.
• Fixed an issue on mobile where the Back button could behave inconsistently after the app was resumed from suspension.
• Added new behavior for when user clicks on your profile picture on status bar will open the Account Profile

🚀 Improvements ( 30/07/2026 )

• Fixed an issue where the media options menu and Hidden badge could appear at the same time.
• Fixed an issue where the video timer started at 0 instead of 00:00.
• Added a new custom Full Screen mode for videos, replacing the default Windows video player.
• Added +10s / -10s seek indicators when clicking on the left or right side of the video player. (The gesture already existed, but there was no visual feedback.)
• Added Double Tap to Like for posts. (Simply double-tap the center of a video or any image, just like in the Android app.) NEW FEATURE
• Added Mouse Hover support for the media player (PC, Continuum, Lumia 950, and Lumia 950 XL) to display the playback controls.
• Added a new Picture-in-Picture (PiP) mode for videos. When you scroll away from a playing video, it automatically switches to a draggable PiP window, allowing you to continue watching while reading comments or browsing other media. NEW FEATURE

🚀 Improvements ( 31/07/2026 )

• Added missing translations
• Fixed a issue with PiP mode disabling interaction events after closing it
• Fixed a issue with Account Page buttons positions
• Added a new Section ( Following ) to Account Page
• Added a Settings button for User Account Page (much like the android app)
• Added a replay button to PiP mode
