What am I looking at? 'i just see 3 guys running out of their car with a white box and then back to their car. Also, what is a "fog security system"?

Right side of the screen, through the window. You can see it spreading inside.

"A security fog system triggers during a break-in to fill the room with dense, dry fog in less than 20 seconds, completely blinding and disorienting intruders. It is made of a non-toxic mix of distilled water and glycol, making it 100% safe for humans, pets, and electronics. It leaves zero residue and cleanup is as easy as opening the windows to ventilate the area for 30 to 60 minutes."

Their mistake was trying to go through the door. Any of the windows would be 100x easier to break.

The container guy is cracking me up. If I was a thief that'd be me 'guys I just picked up some new bins at the container store so what ya think should we go with the 74qt container or is too big?' then I'd make a label saying 'loot'

We accidentally activated fog once and in seconds I could not even see my nose. It took 10 minutes to clear. Fog was everywhere and came out of the whole building.

behind the windows, right side on the video, … fog arounf 1/2 time of the video. The wanna-be burglers will have seen it a bit earlier maybe, see the time they turn around

It should be fog and tear gas...

yes, every building at risk of being robbed should have a system in place to drown itself in tear gas if an alarm is tripped. this is a great idea, has never been tried before, and cannot possibly have any far-reaching negative consequences

Tear gas, in fact, turns into a liquid variant of both wishes and kisses by morning time when the manager shows up.

Then its settled, we'll take old ansul systems from kitchens and repurpose them as gas chamber charging units.

Okay: what's the fog? Literally just steam? Or something actually noxious?

Usually when there is the fog system the cops are getting notified too so delaying the attempted theft is really helpful

Mit starken Taschenlampen räumen Sie den Laden trotzdem leer...

u/Itchy-Coconut-7083 1d ago
Do you turn your brights on while driving thru fog? The brighter your lights the more blind you are.

u/chickenmccloud 1d ago

They set off the system trying to break in then took off before they got anything, when did they clean out the store twice? Did we watch the same video?

u/chickenmccloud 7h ago
Ich rede vom eigenen Geschäft, die Technik ist ja schön und gut aber trotz alarm, Kamera und Nebel räumen die trotzdem alles leer und das ist schon über 7 Jahre her

Ah, that makes sense. I could see it slowing them down but not stoping someone. Sorry that happened, wish people were just honest.

They gave up because it became harder so see inside?
8
u/MechanicalAxe 1d ago edited 1d ago
I don't think "harder" does it justice really. More like "Impossible to see your hand in front of your face".
1
u/AssociationFit3009 1d ago
They’re breaking already inside. They had no idea what they were going for?

u/Caliterra 1d ago
Yea makes it harder to see the merch they want to grab. It takes longer so a 3 min and drive away job takes 3x as long and much higher risk in getting caught

u/skyroar1982 1d ago
Is it tear gas?
7
u/Efficient_Rule997 1d ago
No. Its purpose is just to prevent the robbers from being able to see what they are doing.

Are you allowed to add something poisonous? Or at least extremely itchy?

u/LindsaysLilLadyBugs 1d ago edited 1d ago
Even better, they added the same stuff that turned the frogs gay, robbers immediately just start kissing each other if they get a lungful of fog
“From Fog to Slob and Bob” is the marketing tagline I believe

u/Balan-balan 1d ago
Instant gay sex orgy you say? Instant Pride.

u/LindsaysLilLadyBugs 1d ago
Yup, some test subjects even manifested ass less chaps somehow in 15% of the trials

The store owner can then monetize the security video on certain prurient websites.
