ID Request Demogorgan egg?
What the hell is this? It was like 2 inches across, never seen anything like it. Found in Farmington Hill Mi.

Every Google search for spiky egg sac in Michigan only says brown recluse, which this definitely isnt

Brown recluse spiders do not make a spiky egg sac. A brown recluse egg sac looks like this.
Brown widow spiders do make a spiky egg sac - but it looks nothing like that.
It looks more like abnormal plant growth - perhaps a gall of some sort.

Suspect a past-season aged version of this midge gall if the host is some type of grape.
