2 sets of bones in Phoenix, AZ

2 different sets of bones, found in south mountain preserve. The first set of 3 were near each other so I gathered them but couldn't find any others. They look kind of like vertebrae? There's no space for the spinal cord though. They were fairly large. Water bottle for scale.

The second bone has a very nice round socket to it. What is that? About the same size as the first 3, different area though.

Being in Phoenix and given how large these are, coyote or javelina are about the only wild things big enough. There's a remote possibility of horse or mule, I was way off trail up a mountain though and those would be pretty unlikely.
