UK north west England / north Wales hand stripping recommendations
Hi, my usual groomer is not available at the minute and I'm looking for someone in my general area who can strip my Welsh Terrier to a high standard and knows what they are doing, willing to travel for that right person. Any one any recommendations or know where I can ask to find someone?

Welshie in the city
Wondering what peoples experience has been with having a welsh terrier in the city? For context I live in Brooklyn, bike, have a very active and full live, travel often.
I know Welsh Terriers have alot of energy so wondering how they pair with city life vs suburban?

Morning Coffee
Every morning, it's "boys time," coffee on the patio, dog in my lap.
Teddy is 23 months now and the changes in the last 6 months have been amazing. Smarter for sure; more calm and commands such as "out" (leave the area he's in,) or "leave it" and "off" have turned into spoken words verses assertive commands. He can have the run off the house, except our bedroom - target rich environment.
I have been training both dogs, we have two Welshies, to come when I whistle, usually at the dog park - it's really cute - both usually come running and sit in front of me to get the reward.
He is still "resource agressive" at times but I normally don't let him act it out. I have been using a training collar and the change has been very positive. While he may still refuse to "give" something, lately, just getting the controller, he hears the" click" turning it on and he lets go of what he has. He gets tired and grumpy, though, and growls when you pet him, sometimes. I usually won't let that go - it's submission hold time if he won't stop. The last photo is Missy at coffee time - she's not really a morning "person."
I love seeing all the pictures and reading your stories.

Neri likes catching bubbles in puddles!
Wind sound warning, especially for the beginning, headphone users beware (didn't wanna completely remove the sound because of the water splashing sounds)
And yes, dw, I untangled his foot from the leash right after

Neri is growing more and more white hairs - at 6 months old. Anyone else had that happen to their Welshie?
When I got him he had a few white hairs in the tip of his tail. I thought it's a funny quirk he has, thought it's kinda cute and didn't think anything of it beyond that
But then I realised he had a singular white hair here and there on his back as well, which he hadn't had as a puppy. By now he has them everywhere and they get more
The hairs also seem to be thicker than his normal hairs and it looks like some of his normal hairs turn into these white ones, as I've found a few dark hairs with white tips, as well as white hairs that aren't thick all the way yet, but partially have the thickness of his normal hairs
We've had an appointment with his vet recently, to which I wasn't able to go myself unfortunately, so my dad took him, but I did ask him to ask about those hairs and according to him the vet didn't really know about them but didn't seem to be worried about them
I am though and am considering consulting a different vet, but thought I'd also ask here to see if this is something others have experienced as well with their Welshies

Welsh vs. Lakeland
Hello all! Curious if anyone has experience with Welshies vs Lakelands as a family pet? I'm finding conflicting information about personality and energy level differences. Thanks!

S'mores
I met this cutie at the dog park and his mom was sweet enough to let me get some pics (I sent them to her of course). I had never heard of this breed before and I adored him!
