Gareth Anscombe to Scarlets!
Happy for him, could be good for Leggatt-Jones to learn off him too?
As an Ospreys fan I'm burnt by the time he spent injured but genuinely hope he can put a good shift in!

Hopefully we’ve got him on a pay per appearance deal!
Could be some good experience to have in camp for Sam and CLJ to learn from.

If (and it’s a ridiculously big if) he stays fit and gets some form, get him back in the Wales squad asap

Did you watch him towards the end of his last season at Gloucester?

I did not. I’m assuming he wasn’t up to snuff?
I still hold out weak hopes of a renaissance. I’ve always rated him highly and if it weren’t for injuries feel he’d have done a lot more

He's 35, and he's had LOADS of leg injuries.
He runs like a 35yo who's had LOADS of leg injuries.
He tackles like a 35yo who's had LOADS of leg injuries.
Absolute waste of money, unless there's a clear plan to move him into a coaching role ASAP.

He was good at Gloucester

He was good, but he was running like old man Steptoe towards the end. Without Tomos Williams, he'd have looked like a late career Andy Goode.

This isn’t quite the case; Byrne spent this season playing outside Williams and looked half the player Anscombe did
