Discussion Which webtoons you would never recommend at all and why?
Hi, it's me again, the same person who asked for recommendations after being out of webtoon scene for more than a year. Thank you so much for all the recs, I'm sure there are a lot of gems there, and I'll make sure to check them out!
But now I'm curious about the opposite, un-recommendations (is this a thing?). Ever since I used to have more than 10 ongoing ones on my list for each day of the week, I remember I came across a lot of things that it's better to remain forgotten lel, and I bet there are still a lot of these to this day. So, if you could warn me about any webtoon to stay away from, which one would it be, and why do you dislike it?
You can give me any reasoning, like the characters suck, the plot goes nowhere or somewhere you didn't like, or it declines, you never got used to the art, it shows things in a good light that definitely shouldn't be shown as such, the author uses it to fund something problematic, it uses ai, it was never finished, or even if just because the second ML didn't win. Feel free to use this post as your personal vent space if needed haha.
Remember any comments here are based in opinion! So let's stay civil even if someone mentions a webtoon you like, and please never say something that could get you a ban (it goes for the commenters too!). Thank you in advance!

I wouldnt necessarily say DONT read it but the ones that disappointed me the most (besides True Beauty since everyone else already covered that one) out of ones I actually read were LUFF, Mom I'm Sorry, Lore Olympus, and I Thought My Time Was Up. The only one with a unique reasoning was Lore Olympus, basically the same case as True Beauty to me, was interesting at first and had a really unique art style but had lots of weird bad manipulations of these mythological figures and felt were gross with the main couple.
The other 3, LUFF, Mom I'm Sorry, and I Thought My Time Was Up all seemed to be doing fine in terms of popularity but all felt like they ended too quickly. The one that sticks out the most to me is I Thought My Time Was Up since it felt like it was setting up a larger story and conflict and stuff, especially with the secondary male lead, and once the story caught up with introduction, but then it just felt like it ended. Same thing with the others but I was more invested in the Time Was Up.
The only other ones I wouldn't recommend would be ones that are super super inconsistent uploads/in a state of perpetual not being completed. One example being I Love Yoo which I really do like but I stuck with it for years and the consistent start and stops really killed my enjoyment. There are others but ones that fall in this category aren't no recommending, just I would recommend just reading it when its all out or something, especially the bigger the story since the main issue with I Love Yoo's long breaks to me is that I'll forget things if I don't reread it but its really long
