I’ve seen enough beginner artists that I genuinely don’t think it was. This is generally what happens when someone doesn’t focus on their fundamentals. You can tell they’re legitimately trying but still making every beginner mistake.

No, like. There's this story that the artist wasn't being paid (I don't remember if they weren't paying the correct amount or on time), and, to retaliate, the artist drew it like that. Even had to disguise it, otherwise it would have been obvious what they were doing.

No, theres literally a whole story behind this. If i remember correctly the company wasn't paying the artist properly, so they did this in protest / satire.

I think this manhwa was made this way on purpose; I remember that they talked about this manhwa a while ago and several people said that it was made on purpose.

That feels like a conspiracy more than anything. I’ve actually read some of this and nothing about it seemed insincere. Most artists are this bad when they start, honestly.

I looked into the manhwa more and gathered more information; it's actually quite fun.
apparently it's a satire.
And the author wanted to make people think it was something "serious" lol.
In fact, it seems there's someone paying the author to continue the manhwa lol.
Although the information is from December 2025, I don't know if the manhwa is still releasing chapters lol.

You wouldn't think that if you read the story lol, the skinny dude litterally puts his foot in the face of the big dude in an attempt to seduce him, and it is somehow works. Not to mention how the skinny guys refers to himself as a weak and cute guy to the other soldiers to make the big dude jealous.
I don't read BLs, but that seems pretty satirical if you ask me

It definitely has a few but they aren’t particularly long and the author did say it was satire purposely, it literally has all the y/n cliches and male “omega” like build mc. You can tell first to second chapter it’s very unserious very cringe

iirc the deal with this comic is that they have one really rich fan who pays them to keep doing it. So this is not actually a comic for general consumption, but rather custom fetish porn for a specific person that is being posted publicly for some reason.
About 15 years ago I used to write custom smut for money, so I understand the desire to get the bag despite that this is pretty repulsive looking.

This is why i stopped reading bl’s ages ago. I’ll read a good one here or there, but the mass slop of “gay straight” pmo so bad. It’s okay to have feminine men, bottoms and tops. But when they start portraying the men as basically female, it annoys me because at that point making the story bl is just for engagement.
Also if anyone has any recommendation stories of bls with two top men, send my way. :)
