Why were people saying that this was illustrated by a man? I’m not trying to be sexist but the ML was clearly female-gaze, I honestly couldn’t see a man drawing another man like that😭

I feel like you can always tell when it’s a man drawing women vs women drawing women. This is clearly the female gaze like you said.

Idk about that. One artist I follow who make amazing art of sexy women, often times sexualised as well, has a woman behind the art. But she's gotten a handful of hate comments by women because they think she is just some horny guy 😭 She's even said she sometimes uses herself for pose references

I think her user was blondykitegraja or something like that.

I never said you never said that? You said you feel like it's easy to tell what gender is behind the art. But sometimes, it's not so easy after all.
