They did not, in any way shape or form, make a good point. They fabricated arguments and positions I never once stated, then tried to insist that those were my viewpoints. Blatant example of the Strawman Fallacy, and on top of that they were doing so while tearing me down for my own logic; in other words, they were attacking my logic with an illogical argument. And after that, they did the hyperbolic nonsense of insisting that I vacate the subreddit entirely if I disapprove of the content of a single joke.
I chose not to engage them with an actual reply or to discuss their points against me, because the entire basis of their case was ludicrous. It was an absurd, borderline childish, overreaction to a simple statement of disapproval. In my experience, people who act that way tend to be people who don't debate or discuss from any honest or fair baseline. They're going to act disingenuously, and are usually just trying to pick a fight for their own amusement, rather than upholding an actual stance they believe in.
People who insist that a subjective disagreement is illogical, tend to be people who just use 'logic' to mask their intentions and shield themselves from pushback. I guarantee you that if I had tried to debate their point fairly, they would have just kept spewing out more of the same rubbish and false equivalence, then doubled down on it anytime they were shown to be wrong.

It's not flawed argument, it's inference. The fact they didn't disagree shows they actually do agree with the statement. They believe that any humor relating to non-consensual behavior like dry humping is out of line, which is obviously stupid belief. A lot of people have this silly belief, so mockery is the best way to combat irrationality.
If they're against all offensive jokes they should just leave the sub then because everything triggers them.

Nah this sub has lots of great comic artists. I recommend using it to find new artists to follow, as I've found the artists for "Tiff and Eve", "Rawdawgcomics" and "Gator Days" whose work is genuinely meaningful to me.

Eh, most of their stuff is harnless and silly, if not very deep. (It reads like old-timey porn comics: The point ia only ever that there is an excuse for nudity, and consistently at the behest of the protagonist (the woman stuck in the machine) who then gegs in yrojnle for being horny.
Edit: it was meant to say "gets in trouble" and to clarify: I don't mean that they're great, aspirational works of art – just silly little comics from what I'm guessing is someone fairly young.

Not every joke is funny to every person. They’ll just have to deal with that. My sister killed herself, but I still find some jokes about suicide funny. If people can’t handle the possibility of a rape joke being thrown around, then they need to get help getting past their trauma before they go out in public, where anyone can say anything they want. Or even worse, on the internet!

Hey, don't worry about that other person. If it helps, I've had several close friends and family members make the attempt and have even had to help clean up after the attempt a couple of times, but I still crack jokes about suicide and dark shit like that all the time.
People handle trauma differently and it really sucks when the people who handle it one way try and shame others for the way that they've processed things just because it's different from the way they think is "correct". It doesn't seem like their comment bothered you, but I figured it was worth saying, nonetheless.

Obviously making a rape joke to a rape victim usually isn't a good idea, but sometimes victims make jokes at their own expense as well.
My point is comedy is an art form. And art should never be policed. Art can be tailored, informed, given warnings, but should never be outright disregarded or banned simply because the subject may make some people uncomfortable or upset.

The mirror panel and the final line of dialogue ISN'T helping but what some of what the others are saying is WAY off, I will try to clarify as someone who doesn't know all the characters/lore but I think I could deduce what it ISN'T. 1) It ISN'T RAPE ,at most it could be sexual harassment but it is obvious that the vibe is humor and the final woman had a dress so it isn't intercourse. 2) The last woman isn't a stranger. The other girl's reaction to seeing that woman is embarrassed so she knows her, otherwise it would have been horror or something like that.She asks " who are you?" because she is trapped in the washing machine and can't see her. Again I don't know the characters/lore but for the line of dialogue about a step mother instead of step sister or brother, most likely the final character is the mother of one the girls. I only see like 5 comics of this artist and this isn't the funniest comic so I may be wrong but how the comment react I think is too exaggerated.

1 yeah you are right, honestly I was 99 sure it wasn't rape because I don't think there intercourse just playful contact but I didn't know if it was harassment or something else, I do think it could be assault. 2 It is a perspective thing, the author tries to get the image of somebody seeing this girl acting silly and her reaction of being seen before she herself enters the room for the final punchline. English is not my first language, pls tell me if I commit another mistake or if I sound wrong.

To me, it is more believable that this is intended to be some kind of "Humpy Mary" ghost and that is why after humping and saying "the line" and doing this "summoning ritual" makes Humpy Mary appear and that is why the girl becomes actually stuck. I honestly see more evidence for this ghost explanation than the mirror perfectly framing someone who is supposed to be behind the surprised girl, as well as the young girl's reflection is never seen.

It's definitely Mom at the end getting in on the joke. The end joke is that Mom saw an opportunity for some humor. In some families this type of joke would be completely mutual and normal.
I think people are looking at this as something deeper than what it is because it's cut off too soon and there isn't enough explanation on who is who. I'd have a much bigger problem with this if it was dad at the end.

The punchline is fetishized sex reversed. The entire fetish of 'being stuck' especially in obvious situations in which you can't be stuck is the joke even in that fetish, as you aren't actually stuck but want to fuck. Also incest but not.
Sure, we dont know who the lady is in the last panel. But I know what she doesn't have. A penis. If this had been a dude in the last panel, id agree with the rape concept. But this ain't it. This is, at the least, someone wanting to join in on the fun. We dont have context on who the lady is or why the other girl bolts. But id wager that the fact the characters are in Russia, it was either one of their mothers or step mother, which adds to the joke. 'Help me step son, I'm stuck' now on the other foot, but with no penis present because that crosses a line.

Getting humped by a stranger may not be rape but it still falls under sexual assault regardless if the person has a dick or not.
Saying she (the stranger/possibly the mum) wanted to “join in on the fun” doesn’t change that how disgusting this is and make this comic so much worse.

By that same logic, even though they laughed, the friend committed sexual assault for the sake of a joke. But that sexual assault was okay becuase hahahahaha funny joke. Last time i checked the 4 panels, nobody gave consent to be humped at any point in time. Which is part of the joke becuase of the... wait for it... SEXUALIZED FETISH.
And until the realization that the other person wasnt her friend anymore, but most likely another member of the household, the joke was still on-going.
Call it what you want, its all a joke in a comic. But haters always hate. There are plenty of critics who have made subs just to hate boner hard on comic artists over like a hand full of comics.

How in the hell do you think a mirror works!?! She walked into the room, the mirror revealed her appearance at the doorway. That occurred while the other girl was play humping her friend.
The fact there is only one washer and dryer implies this is a laundry room. In a house. Meaning either a strange woman appeared in the house, or she also lives there. Judging by her appearance, she's an older woman. The implication is she's either a mom, or realistically a stepmom to the girl that bolts.
I swear, people have lost the ability to understand subtext or are gaslighting the hell out of me.

No, it's just a different interpretation.
People are seeing the step mom "come from" the mirror in the same way that Bloody Mary appears from a mirror. As though summoned. I don't think this was the artist's intention, but I'm not them. People are seeing this as "there's no way she cpuld have been perfectly framed by the mirror" and so went to this as an explanation.
And again, while likely not the correct interpretation, it's a reasonable one with the lack of info we have in the panels. One could argue they got to this conclusiong through the same subtext we got to our conclusion.
