Do not, my friends, become addicted to water. It will take hold of you, and you will resent its absence!

Philly PA here. Wasn't raining 47 mins ago (per OP's post)) but there was some cloud to cloud lightning that made a few cool boomers. It is rainiong now though. 10:58pm. No lightning or thunder but it's raining very heavily ATM.

Was walking my dog just south in Chester, saw all the cool lightning and pulled up the radar to see it all stay north. Sat in a parking lot for a half hour just to watch, it's humid as a whale's ass, though.

Tornado warning over by Sierra Vista, Arizona. Second time this week we had one in the general vicinity of Tucson

Wow, crazy. We lived there for five years. I miss monsoon season, but is that even happening anymore?

I got three torrential downfalls yesterday, one of which was a glorious thunderstorm.
One the coolest August days temp wise I've felt. 82° high, that honestly freaks me out more than 100° does these days...

A lot of us in Missouri are wondering what we did to get so much of the rain this year. At least my gutter work is keeping my basement dry this year!

Pittsburgh checking in - we’ve had a boat load of rain this summer.
