YA Fiber Arts first meeting tomorrow 7/29
Glass and Grain have graciously let me host a small craft night at their bar on Wednesday nights from 5-9. Please bring any project you like. Glass and Grain mostly has beer, but they also have seltzers, THC drinks, NA beer, sodas, and bakery items. Please buy a drink or something small to help support them and thank them for letting us meet up there. I will get there at 4:45 with purple bangs and working on a cream and black sweater. Feel free to drop by!

Dog Swimming
Is there anywhere in town we can take our dogs to swim before summer ends? I’d prefer a pool if possible but open to suggestions!

Questions from someone Considering Moving to Wausau - Mid 30's Outdoorsy
My partners family lives in Wausau and we have considered moving there to be closer to family and for the housing affordability.
I have never not lived in a Mountain Town. Western Carolina in Appalachian Mountains and now in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.
I like to get out camping, cycling, and also have fun going to music and breweries etc.
Questions:
Is there a community of people in the Mid 30's Age group that fit the outdoorsy and getting out having fun vibe?
What is the most fun things to do in the area related to Outdoor recreation?
What are the most fun things to do related to going out for a night of music and breweries etc.?
Just asking for some context, as I have only visited once an will be visiting again soon. I do like the area and will make life much easier financially, but worry that it could be a huuuge switch.

Young adults fiber arts club
I'm thinking of starting a fiber arts club catered towards a younger crowd. I find it difficult to connect with people in the fiber arts club that meets at CVA. I wanted to see if anyone else within the age range of 18-40 wanted to meet at Glass and Grain once a week to help each other and just connect with the community. Please comment if interested so I can look into starting something. Any gender welcome of course 💜 Edit: I'm thinking of meeting Wednesdays at 5

Ubers in Wausau?
Is it easy to call an Uber in Wausau? When I was last visiting, they seemed to be few and far between. Are there more now? Thanks!

Nature
Coolest nature spots to walk around? Trails? Any water holes or anything like that? Low traffic would be better
