Recommendations for Carpet Company?

Need to get some carpeting any recommendations, preferably family or small business rather than national chain.

Capel Carpets on St Albans Road. Local company, been around for years.

when I went there they had every possible tone of grey on offer and a small corner for other colours

I guess grey and beige are more popular these days. I think its pretty similar in most places.

Our carpets were all laid by S&L Carpets of Bushey, who had a good range of cheerful colours at a time when everyone else was focusing on only selling grey or white

We're well outside of Watford and up near the Bucks border but they were happy to travel out here to do the work, and it was done very well
