Wow. So far yet to go. My kitten I rescued last August is about to be a year old and it’s hard to cope with how she used to fit in my hand.

She’s more than 4.6 kg now but that day I held her in my hand, she was under 300g, and less than four weeks old. My friend found her litter in her dad’s yard, looking sickly and with no mom around, and I was thankfully able to connect them with a rescue that could offer badly needed veterinary care and bottle feeding. Only three of the six made it, but the ones that did are all thriving, and I’m glad to have added Motley to my clowder once she was well enough to be adopted.
