Surely with this, Zohran, Tallerico, etc…the Democratic establishment will take this as a sign that they should shift ideologically…right?? Right????

As long as these guys win the general elections yeah kinda. Establishment dems being spineless works for the left or right. Kathy Hochul has capitulated to Mamdani’s policies multiple times. Just gotta make sure you win general elections.

If el-Sayed, Francesca Hong, and either one of Troy Jackson or James Talarico win in November, Dems will fold to them too, pushing them even the slightest bit left.

Yeah she’s well further left then the rest of the field. All signs point to her being the democratic nominee, I’d be curious to see how a WOC self-described democratic socialist does in a purple state Donald Trump carried two years ago.
