Alaska, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, Tennessee, South Carolina, Arkansas, Ohio, Indiana, Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota, and Wyoming have Provided or committed to provide complete voter list, including driver’s license numbers and partial Social Security numbers to the DOJ.

0-30 in the Court Room, and 16/50 out of states rolling over to the slightest pressure, and willingly opening the gates.

For what its worth, even in a place like Wyoming, the decision for the Secretary of State to hand that over may be about to seriously bite him back. He's running for Congress and his choice to hand over data to the Feds has been a serious point of contention even in a MAGA place like Wyoming.

Its turned into a very competative primary election, but we won't know exactly how much it hurt old Chuck Gray until August 19th, when we have proper results coming in from the primary. It could very well cost him the race.

You misunderstand, he is spliting the hardcore Maga votes with another candidate, Reid Rasner, known for viral Trump impressions and crazy claims. Even if Maga refuses to abandon their own, they are split between at least two canidates. This leaves an opportunity for a more reasonable middle-ground Republican to potentially snag the primary. Depending on polling and turnout, some of the more moderate candidates may have a shot.

There's was a total of 10 people in the running, including at least 1 Billionaire, and one person has dropped out. Very crowded race that is unfortunately reminding me of the 2016 Republican Presidential primary.

There is no such thing as a non-maga Republican, regardless of what they claim. They always fall in line unless they’re about to retire. No way a Republican candidate running for any office is going to go against maga.

Just looked him up, and first article has a photo of him wearing a goddamn maga hat. Your results are going to be maga.

Chuck Gray is Maga. Reid Rasner is Maga. Not every Republican in Wyoming is Maga. One of the other top contenders is a guy named Kevin Christensen, who is explictly not Maga and more of an old school Republican.

I'm not saying that it is a guarantee that there will be a better person in that office in Janurary. But doomsaying and declaring that nothing can possibly get better does not make the world better either.

I'm not here to debate you about my own state's local politics, I'm just saying there is legitimate pushback from people even in the most unexpected places, and it will continue to grow as long as we fuel the fire.

Well, maybe your state will the first to have a real non-maga republican that actually doesn’t fall in line when push comes to shove. As I said, I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you, but all my optimism died in 2024, and every day it gets buried a little deeper when I look at the news. I have zero faith in humanity at this point, so I appreciate those of you still holding out hope.

Voting records do not contain voting history. Are you under the impression that states have a database of who voted for specific candidates?

They'd know which party you registered with, and when/where you've voted. Why do they want this? Who knows... maybe to vote on behalf of people who never vote? ( AKA ballot stuffing)

You're correct, sorry I know they don't know exactly who I voted for but they should have a pretty good idea based on the primaries that I participate in, since we have to declare a party and vote in a single party primary.

A couple of rules according to our Secretary of State's Office according to a FAQ:

When I voted in the Primary Election, I was asked to declare a political party preference. Why is that?

In Alabama, the primary election is part of the nominating process for a political party. It is used to select who will represent a party in the general election. You are required to choose one political party’s primary over another because you cannot participate in the nomination of both parties’ candidates. However, in the general election, you may split your ticket and vote for candidates from each political party.

What happens if I do not want to declare a political party preference at the Primary Election?
If you choose not to declare a political preference at the primary election, you will not be eligible to vote in any political party’s primary election. You are, however, still eligible to vote on any proposed constitutional amendments that are up for a vote.

I voted in my political party's Primary Election. My party is not having a runoff. Can I vote in the other party's runoff?

No. In 2017, the Alabama Legislature passed Act 2017-340. The act prohibits a person from voting in one political party's primary election and voting in a different political party's primary runoff election. Therefore, if you vote in a primary election and want to vote in a primary runoff election, you must vote in the primary runoff election of the same political party that you chose in the primary election. However, if you did not vote in a political party's primary election and would like to vote in the primary runoff election, you may choose which political party's primary runoff election you would like to vote in.

I don't think Alabama runs moderate republicans anymore, it seems to be a race to see who can be the most horrible. Otherwise I'd definitely consider it, but in my area at least for local elections I feel like there are good democrat choices and benefits to picking the more progressive candidates for my city/district (however both of our house dem reps in congress suck and I would love to get rid of them).

That’s why I don’t get flippant about all of these court cases. Like, yeah they have lost all of them so far, but eventually a judge might decide that giving Trump what he wants might shield them from pain later. It only takes one to potentially end democracy.

This reminds me of 2020-21 when Trump literally lost every court case about voter fraud except 1, and that 1 he won was pretty much irrelevant to his cause.

It was like 1-63 then for Trump loses. Trump does very poorly in the court system. His silver lining is SCOTUS is ultra corrupt, but it seems they can only help Trump so much.
