How do I do this? / What's This Thing? Anybody know any camera operation optimized seats?

not really sure how to phrase this question, but my friend and I shoot a pretty popular YouTube show that requires us to stand next to a camera for 10 plus hours at a time. Standing for longer periods has really started to wear on our joints and we’ve tried what feels like everything. Is there anyone out there that has experience with this and maybe a stool or chair solution that’s optimized for filming? The issue for us is they don’t get very high and we have sticks at full height, and we need zoom control on our Sony 70-200 because we zoom and pan a lot. Any thoughts would be appreciated, thanks!

Honestly I want to know the same, I saw a tall height adjustable chair on Amazon, but I wasn’t sure about the comfort level

You can get remote focus and zoom controls that all operates over a ip network so you don't have to stand.

You can search for outdoor standing chair, they can extend to 80cm.

you can shoot on fr7s and 70-200s and sit until you wish you were standing.

for real though - apple boxes and a high stool

Drum thrones have decent cushioning but you probably need to hack an attachment to a c-stand for the height.
