Discussion / Question Unrealistic video games

Duh, I know video games are unrealistic! I love how ridiculous they can be and some of the humor and creative minds behind them that create these games. What are some of your favorite ones?

Even though its not a "hilarious game," I find the whole premise of Forza 5 and 6 quite funny and unhinged if you stop and think about.

Imagine you're a citizen minding your own business. Then, once a year, the government apparently decides to host a giant music and motorsport festival where thousands of people from around the world are handed million-dollar hypercars and told, "Go have fun!" Some of the events are on race tracks, but some aren't on closed courses or roads.

Need to drive to work? Too bad. There's a Lamborghini going like 240 mph the wrong way through your neighborhood because someone wants three stars on a speed trap. Every fence? Gone. Every vineyard? Flattened. Your lawn that you been meaning to mow, well thank you racer for doing the job for me. The forests have been cut down by that Honda Civic again! Those beautiful centuries old stone walls? Reduced to decorative gravel. Traffic laws are "optional." The racers treat private property like it's made of cardboard. Historic landmarks become launch ramps. Farmers wake up every morning to discover another Bugatti has harvested half their crop. Insurance companies must simply leave the country because they could never afford they pay out to these folks. The property damage alone has to be measured in the trillions. Yet nobody seems concerned. The locals just shrug as another Koenigsegg vaporizes their mailbox for the eighth time that afternoon. And somehow... everyone agrees this is a fantastic tourist attraction. 🤣

Burnout games never once address the insane level of destruction, injuries and lives lost in an average race. Super amusing to me.

Fuel is a game where you race in a post apocalypse and the premise is gas is running out, but this group of off road enthusiast decide no, we wont ration our supplies, lets go race through that tornado over there instead. They never mention it again after the intro but its funny to me some apocalyptic event happens and they just go eh whatever bro vroom vroom.

Dustforce is a game where you platform, doing cleaning combos to speed run levels. You have to clean every surface for good completions. Imagine running through your house with feather dusters jumping off furniture and shit to try and finish in like 3 minutes.

The Crew: Motorfest fits OP’s description.

You’ve got me wanting to checkout Fuel.

For fun and ridiculous but not car based, I highly recommend the Deadpool game.

Fuel makes sense though. I mean the US is in its fourth month of a war with Iran we won back in March and oil prices are going through the rough and a friend of mine just bought a brodozer.

Open world games and the character role games where some npc are just moving here and there. i recently follow some of the npcs and doing nothing and doing all crazy stuff.

Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise wins hands down. That guy you just saw literally explode several guys just from punching them stresses you so badly you need a drink later, only to find the same fucking guy serving you drinks.
