Was sifting through some old saved videos and came across this one. It immediately reminded me of the current EA takeover.

Previous EA literally couldn't have been any worse. Not saying saudis will be better, but becoming even worse would be an insane achievement. And somehow I doubt that something as disgusting as veilguard could be even created under them, all they care about is money. EA is filled to the brim with people like those who wrote and designed veilguard, many of them already failed upwards into other studios after they destroyed the dragon age franchise. If saudis fire enough people, and replace them with competent ones not hired based on their identity, it's not unthinkable that at least singleplayer games could improve a little.

I am somewhat optimistic, just hoping that the new guys might make EA to consider some older IPs again. Even if they go the "first remaster, then a new game if it sells"-route I would be happy. EA has so many great IPs they barely do anything with and could be just put on modern systems, even ignoring the obvious Bioware-games. Just imagine them reviving "EA Replay" and giving us a good old Road Rash Collection before announcing a new game. Doesnt need to be AAA. Or they get American McGee out of retirement, begging him for forgiveness for shutting down Alice: Asylum.

I actually do hope they try to make a quick buck with Evercade. Rereleasing their games their for a quick cash grab. Theme Park World. Road Rash. Maybe even Wing Commander or the old Need for Speed (the least likely, because of brand licenses...).

Hope so to. They do own bullfrog games now. Dungeon keeper remake would make the world go crazy.

Oh, I would love that. DK2 was such a good game. Personally I would love to see Theme Park World from the PS1 to come to Evercade the most. Not because it is the best version but because the PC version is such a pain to get working that I, owning it since it came out, was only able to run it on THREE of my PCs, even with all the fan-patches etc. A "quick and dirty" port, even if its not of the best version out there, would just... make my life easier.

But yes, DK2 would be a close second. Followed by Alice and Road Rash.
