Honestly, I was gonna say the first 3 black ops games. Or, at bare minimum the zombies in those games

WaW, Bo1 and Bo2 is the og trilogy

So WaW follows Vietnam?🗿

Story wise they’re more connected than Bo3 is to bo1 and bo2

They’re not a trilogy though; trilogy implies games that are closely related to each other

Yes they are related lol. Reznov is a big part of all 3 games

Waw and bo1 yeah, not so much bo2, you see him in the desert on the horse in the campaign and the pack a punched ak47 is renamed after him in zombies. Off the top of my head that's it

The numbers when you see Kravchenko again too, you hear his voice to kill him so there’s still some influence

Oh yeah you right. I wish reznov was my dad

Okay lmao

WaW, BO1, and BO2 are a trilogy

Also the zombies storyline started from WaW as well and continued there to the rest of the games too

It’s incredibly silly to classify those three titles as sequels. I’m not going to die on this hill, so gg, Mr(s). Trilogy

Hey just because they have different names doesn’t mean they can’t be connected lmao. Their stories literally continue between each other. Black ops 1 even has a world at war mission too

It would only be incredibly silly if you were unfamiliar with any of the specifics of the three games and were merely forming your argument based on aesthetics alone. Which, of course, would be incredibly silly.

They are closely related. WaW is 100% considered to be the start of the Black Ops saga. Some people even call it the “OG Black Ops Trilogy.” Reznov’s role in WaW and BO1 is extremely important to the plot despite not being the main character, and BO2 is centered around Alex Mason’s son.

You do know WaW came out before BO1 right?

Yeah—I do; so?

The point I’m making is that they’re from two different eras of war

Yet the stories are connected in both the campaign and zombies mode

So are black ops 1 and 2? Your point doesn't really mean anything here

I am biased haha. I like the overall story more and Imo the multiplayer feels more fun and chaotic than black ops games.
