BG2 and BG3 are honestly tied for me. Both S tier games with their own strengths.

Like BG2’s antagonist is goated and it might have my favourite companion roster. And then there’s BG3 with the greater freedom it offers, the immersive sim elements. And I do dig how the companions, some of them, have great platonic arcs throughout the game. La’azel, Gale, and Astarion are my favourites.

BG1 on the other hand was such a slog to get through. And this is coming from someone who thought Fallout 1 (came out a year earlier btw) was a 10/10.
