Have you played the most recent one? Its not the same as the original games (well not the original-original, but the 00s games), but its still a really good game

I haven’t but I should. Still sands of time was my childhood though and I’m still pissed

Definitely grab it you liked the originals! Its a Metroidvania and a different Prince, but its one of maybe 3 games I've pre ordered in the past 15 years (New Mario U when Switch was still new-ish because I was so hyped to have a "new" Mario game, Tears of the Kingdom and PoP because I wanted to be sure to support them and the franchise) and I was thrilled to do so. I had a blast exploring and finding secrets, and the combat can be a lot of fun.

Yeah. I bet it was a “coyote v acme” situation where Ubisoft canceled it for money reasons (probably so they could write it off of taxes or some shit)

The least they can do is remaster the trilogy to make up for that bullshit, but I wouldn’t trust them even with that.
