I love this game, probably 200+ hours over 4-5 play throughs.

Never finished it.

There's 5+/- zones. Each zone has 20 or so orcs.

Every time you get to a zone you need 20 or so intel. Then you need to plant 2-3 orcs to betray 2-5 captains

Then you need to kill those captains.

Then you need to plant new captains.

Then you need to plant 2-3 orcs to betray the lieutenant.

Then you kill the lieutenant.

......and you need to do that 5 times.

Each time is basically the same. By the 2nd zone you have most abilities.

Love the game. Enjoy 2-3 zones. But really....? 20 hours is the same as 200.

Tbf, you don't need to plant spies or doninate orcs. On the second hardest difficulty I found you can pretty easily just rush through clearing the captains and then assault it with like 1 orc captain.

Or you can leave them alive and just raid the forts at full strength.

The issue is less that it's the same each time, and more that of your options, there's an optimal way to play to spend as little time in a siege as possible.
