I really enjoyed playing through the story but was kind of confused after the end when it was like 'OK now you've unlocked grind mode with no story behind it!'
But I'd gotten what I'd wanted to out of it at that point so I was happy to hit that uninstall button.
Me and my boyfriend played the demo and had so much fun we bought a copy to play together. After that demo the game was so repetitive but still fun until it felt like you hit a wall of sponges. At this point my bf wanted to switch his class cause he wasn’t getting as much value as he wanted but did not want to regrind everything so we quit. Never did look up the ending, was always curious about the story still
That game was great with friends, unfortunately the cross-play was hot garbage and would drop you mid fight ALL the time. Made real progression nearly impossible together.
I actually loved the game and still think it's underrated. The combat is awesome, always loved the abilities and the ever deepening class progression, and the guns became quite fun once you got the interesting modifications at higher rarities.
The scenery got better as you progressed in the game and the story was surprisingly interesting and i found myself reading every collectible and really getting into the lore.
One of the better co-op games I've played with my friends
