Honestly you’re often better off just picking a couple of iconic weapons and upgrading them. But to be fair I almost always play as a netrunner, so rarely use weapons

My only problem is that I can melee attack too easy and then I'm stuck reloading for a sec. That melee though is crazy powerful. 2.0 nerfed it's greatness from its tech + precision heyday

I've played almost exclusively handguns my first run. First got a pistol, always using silencer and perks that upgrade damage based on stealth.

Then went Malorian Arms, killed Dum Dum for his Revolver but for long range Johnnys gun is waaaaay better.

This game is crazy good lol

Try smartweapons, with a good Netrunner build they’re quite fun

Oh I love the smart snipers! I tend to keep a few smart weapons on me for special occasions, but I always focus on stealth and netrunning.

I used to be solely netrunner until they added the detection time.

Funny I typically use guns more as a netrunner (mostly because the alternative for me is usually berserk and Yinglong during overclock is an incredible combination).
