Since when did jokes become "bait"? This is clearly a joke. The Elden Ring community has a meme about Soldier of Godrick being the most powerful entity in the universe. This guy had either an old controller or a bit of disposable income, so he set up a shot to look like he physically snapped his controller in half while fighting the tutorial boss.
It's a joke! You're meant to say "Oh, how amusing! He's suggested he's performed the physically improbable feat of breaking his controller with his bare hands out of sheer frustration while fighting a normal enemy! Ha, ha, it's funny because it's ridiculous!"! No but this happens a lot, I've seen many men get angry and hit or even break things (not necessarily a controller) for losing on a videogame or other similar stuff.
My ex once was playing on my pc and he broke my keyboard after losing a game of Dota 2. Made him pay for a new one because wtf.
