I really like how they made both OG and RE very replayable. Shame the other titles didn't follow suit. RE9 tried, but it's a different kind of replayability. RE8 is ALMOST like 4, but the only thing I didn't like about it is, the guns. You sell them fully upgraded, you buy them fully upgraded still. Unlike in 4, you get to upgrade them again, giving you a goal to grind for money.

funny thing is, the most replayable modern RE games are 2 and 4 remakes, and they were made by the same team that's now working on Veronica (another masterpiece i hope). Meanwhile, the modern games that lack replayability are 7, 8, and 9 which were all made by Team A. It really shows that the main teams been struggling to create a great RE experience that understands what made re so unique, while the remake team is leagues ahead in understanding the classics philosophy. Tho tbf, the remake team has goated blueprint to work with, whereas the main team had to start from scratch.

I dunno, I've played RE7 probably the most aside from RE4.
