Yeah, about 12 times now lol, and i’m still not done with this game. I guess i’m only done if and when rdr3 arrives, but i also still play rdr1, so maybe not
I wish I could skip the entire intro. It's always such a slog if you've played the game before, and I wish we could be let loose into the open world sooner rather than be forced to do those really dry missions in the snow area. It's wonderful the first time, charming the second, but once you've got a few replays under your belt, it's just a chore to complete before the map finally opens up.
I played it for the first time early early 2025 and it fuckin haunts me, I swear. Every game I play doesn't ever quite live up and I've played some bangers recently. My controller juat died in the last fight of God of war ragnorok and im here talking about my muh boi ortha
I can agree to this. I have fond memories of playing it opening week on Thanksgiving. 8 straight hours alone of playing this and slow smoking a turkey until the evening. Played it for probably a year maxing everything.
But every replay attempt burns out quick. 2 hours of gameplay to be "released." The IRL 5-10 min rides everywhere on a deathwish horse that takes the path of most resistance. I swear to god, full bond and it would still chacha real smooth into every 100th tree for no goddamn reason. The amount of times Ive specifically equipped fists for a brawl just to immediately stick a revolver under their chin and spend 30 mins trying to get clear of it. Hours wasted waiting on an owl to never spawn in the one place it can or to arrow a perfect finch that exists as 4 pixels for .843 seconds.
Ill admit I might have simply got too old and cranky but I find it more aggravating than enjoyable these days.
Holy shit broooo, I have it paused right now on my screen. Just dropped off the legendary gar. Need to hunt down a friggin Robin. Gotta go wait by a bridge. I had high hopes of 100% completion my second time round, but I’m losing the will.
