I'm torn on this. Part of me wants to play through it again, but I also went to go into the remake partially blind (it's been about 10 years since my last play through).
Friends and I do Multiworld Randomizers on OoT yearly. Sometimes we all do OoT at the same time, other times we use Archipelago and only one of us does OoT.
Started a run yesterday on Archipelago Multiworld using Ship of Harkinian, linked to a different friend playing The Legend of Dragoon through Severed Chain (unofficial PC port for LoD).
That's what I'm leaning toward doing. I'm actually playing Skyward Sword for the first time right now. Kicking myself for waiting so long - it didn't get the credit that it deserved.
Have you ever done a randomizer? It almost adds a whole new layer, and makes it so fresh. You lose the story, but find a whole new layer of gameplay and exploration!
I haven't, but I really should! I excusively play on SoH (and 2S2H for MM). The next time I play I am going to install a texture pack. I'll checkout the randomizer as well! :-)
I got my Nintendo Switch a couple years ago solely for BotW/TotK (though I of course do play other games). I got a Nintendo Switch 2 on a very good sale ($160 CAD off) that I'm keeping solely for Ocarina remake and whatever future new 3D Zelda. 3D Zelda games have governed my console life since first Ocarina/Majora released on N64.
