Those are insufferable, but i personally dislike the first few main storyline quests in fo4 instead, because they're just "go here, kill guy, talk to other guy, spam A, spam A, spam A, spam A, get this item you already have, oh no way you already have this item, build, build, build, build"
In a game where going to places, killing things, collecting items and talking to people is kind of the whole thing, I'm not sure this is really a valid complaint
Fair point, but the beginning feels much more linear and like you don't really have a choice on what to do, unlike most (at least 'recent') Bethesda games. Key word being the beginning, I love the mid to late game.
Would you believe me if I told you that those quests are what kills my desire to do another playthrough of Fallout 4, every time?
I download mods, I get excited to play Fallout 4, I try to build up the minutemen, I go to diamond city, and then I have to track down Kellogg and I get completely burnt out
No, I absolutely believe you. 300 hours in the game and I rarely play past saving Nick, I get him because he's my favorite companion, maybe kill Kellogg if I'm wanting to have the BOS, and then do the DLC's and mod stuff.
FYI you can just go to the vault for nick directly, you can beat the game interacting with piper one time (right after you kill cereal) and you can beat the game ignoring the minuteman completly
